Sweet Escapes

This place is honestly a hidden gem. Combining two of my favorite things with escape rooms and a bakery who couldn’t ask for more. The room I did (The Legend of Sorro Bay) was just the right amount of stress, but with the sweet satisfaction of completion when we finished with 10 minutes to spare. Also, the Macarons were delightful and honestly, the best in town. Will definitely be going back!

By far one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to. Although we didn’t “escape” it was fun. The staff were amazing and helpful. Omg the bakery - those cookies are amazing. We ended our escape eating those delicious cookies. We will definitely be going back to try and escape!!

Escape rooms are absolutely magically made with detail and love put in everything around you that you can see!! You can feel the passion and love from the owners as the intricacy and creativity shines so breathtakingly in their escapes rooms, sweet treats and the happy environment!!! Can’t wait to go back as a family and try the next Escape room!! - definitely tell your friends, family, and those visiting in the area that this is a number one spot that they can’t miss!!! So amazing!! They seem to think of the guest comfort from beginning to end, including a locker To keep your items safe and a wristband key that you wear throughout the escape room , So your items aren’t just waiting in the lobby! The end the escape room experience by celebrating with a sweet treat!! You will not be disappointed I am 1,000,000% recommend!!! Experienced or newbie, you will enjoy every minute twist and turn of the sweet escape room Experience!!

Their raspberry lychee macarons were absolutely delicious, I’m without words! I got a sour candy infused lemonade that I think is my new favorite drink 😁 Super sweet staff, beautiful shop. Can’t wait to try their escape rooms!!

Thrilling adventure to escape reality for an hour! Friendly staff who offer an awesome experience with all the senses aroused! Great interactive props, challenging clues and so much fun! Can't wait to do the other themed rooms! A must do in Paso Robles!!

Super fun escape rooms. We’ve done them as a couple and as a group, all three are great. The macrons up front are some of the best in the area!! Owner is a legit pastry chef and she knows what she’s doing. Great addition to downtown Paso!

I first experienced Sweet Escapes while attending an event at Misty Oaks Winery in Paso, another group of local artisans who are truly doing it right. Our gracious host paired their wines with a selection of treats from Sweet Escapes, and it turned out to be a discovery all its own. After sampling several of their offerings, one thing became immediately clear: everything was simply exceptional. The flavors were balanced, the textures perfect, and the quality unmistakable. These are not just desserts, they are thoughtfully crafted, chef-created pastries made with the very best ingredients. They say “if you know, you know,” and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing truly exquisite, small-batch pastries, then you already understand. Sweet Escapes is absolutely fantastic, and I’m grateful I had the chance to discover them in such a wonderful setting.

As a fresh locally owned business, this location has had such an amazing impact on the local community. It's a spot where you can create meaningful memories, make conversation with the workers, and enjoy a delightful snack with friends or family. The rooms can be difficult, and they foster great trust building and cooperation within each group. I can't recommend this spot more. Especially here in Paso Robles.

Had the privilege of playing all 3 rooms. And all 3 are great fun! Not to easy and not too hard. Definitely a must do while in the area. The bakery goes so well with the theme of one of the rooms. Highly trained baker really shows off her stuff deliciously. Love the SWAG that’s available too. Great small business.

We had the best time at Sweet Escapes! We experienced the Legend of Sorro Bay escape room for my daughter’s 12th bday with a friend and it was so fun! We were 2 moms and two 12 yr old daughters. The puzzles were fun and challenging and so many cool details. It was really involved, it was all of our first escape room and I think we are hooked. We had no idea what to expect and all of us had a blast! The staff were fun and friendly and we absolutely loved the experience. Would highly recommend!

What a great addition to Paso! The owners were incredibly accommodating and made my 13 year old and her seven friends feel so welcome. They had such a fun and memorable experience. The treats were great, the rooms were fantastic, and everything was set up perfectly for a fun time. My wife and I will definitely be coming back for a little pre-fun before our next date night!
