This was my third visit to the Fountain Inn and it never disappoints. I love the quaint setting for such an elegant experience. Such a treasure!
The Fountain Inn hosted a birthday party for ~30 people upstairs. The staff was responsive, attentive, helpful, perfect. We opted for appetizers rather than entrees, all the food was delicious. They helped curate a custom food and drink menu for the event. This is an intimate gem of a bar. Five stars.
The Fountain Inn is a gorgeous upscale establishment in the heart of Georgetown. Amazing selection of rare spirits ! Delicious food. Comfortable and elegant ambiance . Knowledge staff. Consistently excellent . Overall 10+/10 every time. Highly recommend and will be back !
INCREDIBLE. My mom said that Luke is the perfect bartender and Chef Greg forever changed pasta for her. We had the best time. Thank you all.
I hate to say this, lest others discover it and make it too crowded, but this is the best, pleasantly intimate spot in Washington -- and all the more surprising given that it is in Georgetown. Staff is, in a quietly understated way, brilliant. It's an absolutely wonderful escape.
I feel like the Fountain Inn might be known more for its cocktails, but the food menu makes it one of the best (and currently underrated) spots to eat in D.C. I’ve visited a few times in the past several months and every time the menu has been new and exciting. Every dish is creative, elevated, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It has easily become one of my favorite spots in D.C. The drinks are also exceptional, and the cozy, intimate vibe makes it perfect for a special night or a low key evening. The service is top-notch — everyone was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. Truly a standout place that keeps getting better.
Luke was an exceptionally gracious and educational host. We all learned something about whiskey making, Georgetown history, and just how much we loved good bourbon. And the beef cheeks were great!
The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food was delicious and the staff welcoming and attentive. We were a large group and felt so welcome and comfortable that we did not realize that we spent three hours eating and drinking.
The Fountain Inn delivers an exceptional tasting menu experience: refined, seasonal, and beautifully balanced. Each course feels intentional and pairs perfectly with their incredible spirits program. The atmosphere is elegant but inviting, and the service is warm and attentive. A standout dining experience in Georgetown and absolutely worth every moment.

The whiskey selection likely requires no feedback: it is beyond excellent and beyond varied. What makes it even better, however, is the knowledgeable staff and bartenders: simply incredible service, astonishing knowledge, and well-considered recommendations.
Service is impeccable. Drinks are perfection. Beet salad and the burger are perfect 10s.
The food is great, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about whiskeys. You may know exactly which bourbon you want to order. You may know how many years it was aged, which ruckhouse it was in, and what farm the corn came from. Or, you may not know the difference between Bourbon and Scotch. Either way, the staff will make you feel welcomed and set you up for an enjoyable evening.

Attentive service, great atmosphere and the spirit pairing with tasting was well done with a good description of the history behind each spirit. Would come back again
