Love Hikes

If you're looking for an excursion that incorporates a good amount of hiking rather than just driving from viewpoint to viewpoint with short easy walks, this is a fantastic option. Compared to the typical tour, this one came with a good amount of flexibility and built-in customization. Despite being the only party, the tour still went on, which I really appreciated. Nick and Josh were great guides. This was my second experience with Love Hikes, and they've definitely exceeded expectations on both occasions.

We were a group of 30-something moms in need of a girl's trip. Can someone say VEGAS?? One of our more adventurous friends booked a moderate intensity hike. Boy was I blown away! We were expecting beautiful sites and we got that. Beside all the beautiful views, the one thing that made this excursion more memorable was our guide, Adam. In a nutshell, I liken Adam to our Bear Grylls of Vegas. You get the Man and the Wild minus the helicopter jumping and snake-eating. Although if it were a longer excursion and the granola bars were gone, he just might serve you a rattlesnake or two. Kidding aside, Adam is friendly, funny, inspirational, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced (ex-marine). He pushed us to the limit (as long as we were up for it) and made us feel accomplished. Take some time to talk to him. He has an amazing life story. He absolutely loves his job and it shows. He will tailor the hike to meet your expectations, experience, and time limitations. With that said, our hike was only supposed to be 1.5-2 hrs and we were out there for about 3! I would clear out the entire day for this trip.

Wonderful Anniversary Hike! We just got back from a moderate hike with Sarah! They were super accommodating by squeezing us in at the last minute. She was knowledgeable and challenged us based on our athletic ability. She also takes some FANTASTIC pictures. The extra water and snacks provided were wonderful. Would 100% book again, when we come back to Vegas.

This was a great afternoon of scrambling over rocks to a beautiful waterfall. It wasn't a long hike, but it was a fun challenge. Josh was a fantastic guide and made sure we were safe, watching for loose rocks or branches in our way. He was a very positive & pleasant guy to hike with, and we were fortunate to have his knowledge of the trails.

Love Hikes was easy to work with as a solo hiker and they added me to a group to ensure I was able to participate. On time pickup and very communicative. Our guide Matthew was well informed and experienced. I learned not only a lot about the geography and geology, but also the history of the land and the people who have lived there. Matthew also read the varying hiking capabilities of our mixed group and was able to allow everyone to participate and still feel comfortable, but also work a bit. It was a great break from the typical Vegas experience and the scenery was amazing.. 10/10 would recommend!

This was such a wonderful way to explore the outdoors. I wanted to do something different and had the best time on this hike. I had never been to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park before and it was stunning. We were blessed with great weather and did the hike late in the day so the sun was setting. We saw tons of wildlife, deer, birds, lizards, cool insects, and desert plants! It wasn't strenuous, if anything, it was more to enjoy nature and its beauty. At the end of the hike we hung around the park and the tour guide set up picnic blankets and we all got to sip on beer and wine. What a great way to end a fun hike and have a relaxing time just outside of the city. It was a small group and I left with an enjoyable memory and new friends.
