Authentic, unheated yoga has a new home in Santa Barbara. So excited that the Santa Barbara Yoga Collective has opened a brick-and-mortar location at 1905 Cliff Drive, Unit G. This place is the real deal. Samira is truly such a lovely being. Her classes are challenging genuinely hard, but in a way that feels completely doable. She takes you right to your edge, and just when you think you can’t hold any longer, she calls it: “Okay, we can change positions.” That moment of relief is earned, and it feels so good. If you’re looking for authentic yoga — unheated, intentional, and grounding this is your place. Samira’s style brought me straight back to practicing in Indonesia and Costa Rica, where yoga isn’t a workout trend but a way of reconnecting with yourself and the world around you. There’s a soulfulness to her teaching that’s rare to find. No gimmicks, no heat cranked up to push you artificially. Just you, your breath, and a teacher who genuinely guides you inward. Highly recommend. Santa Barbara is lucky to have this space. 🙏

I booked Samira for my bachelorette in Santa Barbara and it was easily the best experience of the weekend. Not only is Samira a radiant person, her practice was beautiful and grounding. The intention was set for well wishes to the bride and it was honestly so special, it was definitely different than a regular class. 100/10 recommend!

I have had nothing but very positive experiences with SB yoga collective. Both as a coach partnering with them to teach yoga classes for my tennis athletes and as a community member attending their awesome events, I’ve been blown away by the quality. For my tennis kids, Bridget was the perfect fit as she not only teaches high school and is great with kids but also has a background in athletic training and tennis! Could not have chosen a better teacher for the experience. As for the events I have personally attended at acorn & oak and Eos, Samira lead beautiful classes, with great music, and the event around it was elite! I had the pleasure of planning a yoga session for my bachelorette party with Samira at Santa Barbara Yoga Collective, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything was so well organized and thoughtful. Samira tailored the session to accommodate the mixed levels in our group, making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged.
