Wander Alexander Valley

The house was a lovely retreat but close enough to the town and the great local stores to stock up on provisions. The Friday Night Live was not to be missed as well. It was great having such a wonderful view. The pool was just what was needed after a hot day exploring and the pickleball, shuffleboard and bocce were great fun to play in the evenings. Brilliant base to explore Sonoma and further beyond.

This home and all the amenities was just beyond! This was a birthday getaway weekend with my family. It was exactly what we had hoped for and then some. All of the activities led to beautiful family memories and quality time that was so much fun! Incredible home! You won’t regret booking a stay here. The team was very responsive, polite, and communicative. Thank you for an amazing long weekend!

The Airbnb was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. We were a large group (3 families with 3 babies and a service dog) and stayed here for 2 nights very comfortably. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a luxurious and beautiful getaway close to San Francisco.

Our stay at Wander Alexander Valley was nothing short of magical. We are already looking at dates to return this summer. The house has it all and our three teenage kids were completely entertained with pickleball, darts, pool and bocce. A wonderful spot for a family getaway or a couples weekend. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property—it was as beautiful as the photos. Very large and spacious. Being able to pet the horses was a treat! Thank you kindly for the special details like brand new toiletries in the bathrooms; we appreciated everything!

Wow! This place was an amazing stay for myself & my coworkers. Plenty of space so we could keep to ourselves when we needed and plenty of large gathering places for meals and activities! We spent quite a bit of time down at the game barn playing Pickleball & Pool. 10/10 would recommend this place in a heartbeat for a large family or friends getaway.

We loved staying here. It is a nice relaxing getaway that feels very remote but also close to town. The house is even nicer in person than in the photos. Close to Healdsburg where we had a very nice lunch and did some wine tasting. I highly recommend and definitely want to come back!

Such a beautiful home! The kitchen is great for preparing holiday meals and has all the amenities you would need. It was fun to walk around outside and explore the property. We had one question for the property manager and they responded right away. This place was a dream stay, and my family would love to visit again.

We had an amazing time at Wander Alexander Valley. We celebrated a birthday with friends and family and we all felt so at home. The bedrooms and bathroom were spotless. We enjoyed bbq dinners on the terrace while watching spectacular sunsets. Evenings were spent sitting by the fire pit or spending time in the hot tub. Our expectations were blown away upon arrival. After winding up Mountain road and turning off onto the property we couldn’t believe what lay before us but a majestic plateau overlooking Alexander Valley. One of the groups favorite things to do was walk the 30 acre property in the late afternoon. It feels like we are miles away from everything even though the town of Cloverdale is only a few minutes down the hill. And the exclusive town of Healdsburg is only 20 minutes. The feeling of the home is one of a true California Ranch. Bring your cowboy boots and kick up a great time like we did. We all enjoyed spirited Bocce Ball games, shuffleboard and pool in the Play Barn.

Wow. What a great find. We went with our friends and kids. Everyone had a great time. We enjoyed cooking great meals in the fantastic kitchen. We played in play barn (adults and kids). We just never wanted to leave. The kids didn't even turn on the TV once. It is so peaceful there. At night we stargazed, and it was especially nice from the hot tub. The place is nicely furnished and everything is new. It is sparkling clean. So much space to hang out together or to enjoy your privacy in the house or outside. We will definitely be back... no question. Although we didn't want to leave... don't fret it - there are many things to do in the area. Wine tasting, hiking, horseback riding and fine dining. Sonoma lake is close by also. You have the best of both worlds. Serenity and peace and other things to do if you ever want to leave. Thanks for creating this inviting ambiance.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this farm house property. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the natural beauty of the land — towering, ancient oak trees surround the property and create an atmosphere that feels both majestic and deeply peaceful. As a family that loves to cook together, the chef's kitchen was a dream. It had everything we needed to prepare full meals, and gathering around it became one of the highlights of our trip. The sheer variety of activities on the property kept everyone entertained from morning to night. Pickleball, bocce ball, basketball, darts, and a small pool with sweeping views made it nearly impossible to want to leave. There was truly something for everyone. And finally, the host was an absolute pleasure — responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It's clear they take pride in this property and want guests to have a special experience.
