Craftsman Ave

This place is so awesome I would highly encourage anyone interested to just send it! My girlfriend, Alika, and I did the lamp-making class and had an awesome time! Jacob was thorough and very supportive during the process. On top of that, the entire place is a marvel. Cozy and stylish, it was fantastic just being there. Plus they have a whole giant bowl of jolly ranchers which I practically siphoned from!!

I’m so glad I did this! I cannot recommend it more highly. Great teacher, great space! I’ll be back.

I did the copper lamp making class with some friends (one single and one pair making a single lamp) and it was such a great experience. It was perfectly leveled for beginners, and it was super cool to leave with a finished lamp that works well and looks really great! It’s a really high-quality experience with knowledgeable teachers and I like that they provide you with all of the materials that you’ll need to create whatever shape lamp you want to design. I would definitely go again to try other classes.

We took the Copper Lamp making class and absolutely loved it! Our instructor Shannon was attentive and funny, got everyone to know each other. All in all, a super fun evening activity to do on a cold winter night!

Such a fun stained glass class! They have plenty of patterns to choose from or they help you make your own of a suitable size. The instructor Mike was phenomenal and had great vibes. He explains clearly and assists you during all the steps. There was great music going the whole time too!

The stained glass workshop with Sacha was extremely fun and rewarding! Sacha was able to take a process that is fairly complex and boil it down to steps that felt really manageable despite using tools that were unfamiliar to me. Now I feel like I actually have the knowledge to approach a project on my own in the future :) I had an absolute blast and I’m so happy with what I got to bring home! 10/10 would recommend, and will definitely be back

Sacha is truly the best art teacher I have ever learned from. She made stained glass, a totally new technique I had never tried, easy to understand, exciting, and surprisingly doable! And I absolutely love the piece I made! She is so funny and I had a great time. I think everyone should take a stained glass class with Sacha!

I had a lot of fun doing the knife making class. The staff were friendly and personalable. They provide you just as much guidance as you want or need, so you can work independently if you want or take as much help as you may need. The studio is clean and large, so there's plenty of space to get your project done without bumping into one another.

My boyfriend and I had an awesome time doing the Survival Knife Class. Our instructor Jacob was attentive and kind and was eager to guide us every step of the way. The shop had a very cool vibe with all the projects from the other classes they host displayed. Located in the middle of Industry City so we easily grabbed dinner at a local restaurant and walked across a courtyard to the studio. Definitely recommend!

Went for the survival knife making class. It was really fun and a great night out. The instructors were very helpful but also gave us the space to craft our knives freely!

I did the survival knife class with a friend. It was very fun and our instructor was amazing, and I learned a lot. I had no prior experience. I would definitely take another class at Craftsman Ave.
