Savannah Taste And Experience Food Tours

Our guide, Gayle, led us through a fabulous tour of Savannah and the south through food and drink. Starting with sweet tea (southern wine) and ending with honey tastings, we sampled the must-try treats of the south. This was a well-paced tour with a mix of history, culture, points of interest and stories to complement the tasty treats. There is also an opportunity to buy cocktails, beer or wine at some of the stops. Great experience!

The food was delicious! We actually returned to one of the eateries the next day. But this was more than just a culinary experience. Our knowledgeable guide, Gail, presented us with interesting historical facts along the way.

This was a fun tour. Not only was the food great but the history and stories were so interesting. Gail was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. The food choices were a perfect complement to one another. I actually went back to one of the restaurants for dinner to get more!

We were down in Savannah for a girls 50th birthday weekend and the food tour was just what we needed!! Cindy was our tour guide and she was wonderful!!! We loved her!!! We learned so much about Savannah as well as some of the local restaurants. I would definitely do this food tour again! Highly recommend!!

We were visiting Savannah with another couple. Our tour guide Heather was so knowledgeable -- you could tell she was a former teacher. She expertly shared and walked us through Savannah history. The food she selected for us to experience was mostly traditional with a couple of special treats. The tour was three hours, and it went by fast. We were happy this was one of our Savannah experiences!

So so fun! We were a group of 7 siblings and there were 2 other really nice people in our group. Bethany was a FANTASTIC guide - laid back, fun, funny, knowledgeable, and super energetic. The tour was really worth it - as we walked to each place, Bethany filled us in on the local sites. Once we landed in each place for a drink and a bite, she explained why that place was chosen, explained each food item we ate as well as the drinks. Everything was yummy - food and drinks alike. A very fun tour!

We had such a great time with our guide, Riley. She was so much fun and blended the perfect amounts of eating, drinking, walking, and history. The food was yummy and the cocktails were really unique and delicious. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on our happy hour tour. Riley gave us just the right amount of history mixed in with food and fun drinks. She gave us insights only a local would know. We got to know the other group members and felt like friends at the end. Well worth the price.

Had so much fun! Was a bit nervous because I’m not a big drinker and I’m a bit picky when it comes to food. Asked for one food item to be switched out and that request was easily I accommodated. If I needed more time to drink the cocktails, I could take them to go. Just enough history factoids and wit to keep the whole tour super fun. Riley was my tour guide. She made everyone feel welcome right from the start and continued to make sure everyone was having a good time throughout! Highly recommend booking your tour with her!

I have been on several walking tours and this was by far the best tour yet. We were a group of six individuals with two other groups joining for a total of 9 individuals. Everyone socialized with one another and seemed to enjoy themselves. They accommodated special dietary restrictions. The food and cocktails were wonderful. Joshua was an amazing host, very knowledgeable and shared interesting tidbits about sites and the history of Savannah. Provided recommendations for rooftop sunset viewings as well. The length of the tour was just right. I would highly recommend this tour for individuals visiting Savannah that are looking for something different in a Walking Tour. Again, Kudos to Joshua.

This was my first time doing a tour like this. I really enjoyed all the interesting information Josh talked about. I learned so much about Tybee Island! The route and places we stopped were pretty cool! Hucapoos is still my favorite Tybee Island place to go! Will definitely recommend people to do this tour!!

We really enjoyed our bike tour of Tybee Island! Josh was very knowledgeable of the island and its history. The stops provided the right amount of bites and libations. Would definitely recommend this tour for an introduction to Tybee.

We were in town for a corporate retreat. There were 7 of us in our group. The weather was perfect for a ride around the island, but nothing could top our guide. He was OUTSTANDING! Knowledgable and fun! The restaurants were great, hidden gems on Tybee! I would recommend this to anyone!!! Thanks for such a great time!!!!

What a great surprise trip! Bec was a fantastic tour guide that was full of information and fun facts. We had so much great food and beverages. I learned so much about the island and places to go while I'm in Tybee. This is a must do excursion for everyone!

We did the first square food tour and really had wished we'd done it the first couple of nights in. A great mixture of 5 different restaurants topped off with a honey tasting. Guide (although I forget her name) was amazing in walking us through the different restaurants and even giving some local knowledge as well. She was even able to give some great recommendations on food on Tybee! Do this first when you get to Savannah and you won't be dissappointed!

This was just a fun way to visit and taste some of Tybee islands best. Had a great group that was on a Business trip, me and my wife. The group really work together well and had a lot of fun. The guild was great to work with and he had many facts about the area that he shared with us. I highly recommend this tour.

Yummy food, knowledgeable tour guide, fun experience! Great way to hear a bit about Savannah!

We took the Tybee Island Bikes, Bites, and Brews tour on April the 11th, 2025. Not only was it one of the best 'food tours' we have ever taken, but it was one of the most fun. The food and drinks were very good, and there were great portions, plus we biked around the beautiful island of Tybee. The tour guide was a great guy, funny and knowledgeable about the Island and the best places for food and drinks. Our first stop was Huck-a-poo's Pizza where we sat on a shady deck and had a beer while we waited for the fantastic pizza. Then we stopped by the Marine center, the beach, and the lighthouse on our way to the restaurant Salt Island Fish and beer. Our guide ordered two pounds of incredibly fresh, local, white shrimp, served with cocktail sauce and butter-- we couldn't even eat it all with 8 people on the tour! Then we were off to Back River brewery where we did a beer tasting and cooled off. Let me tell you, I have had some craft brews in my time and EVERY ONE of their beers were fantastic!! I have never been able to say that before. If we go back to Tybee Island, Back River Brewery will be our FIRST stop for sure. The final stop was Zunzibar Restaurant where we had four orders of nachos and handmade dips with a yummy coconut cocktail. We sat on pick-nic tables under the big umbrellas and chowed down. It was such a fun time. The bike ride was not too difficult (I am mid-50's), and it wasn't too hot with the breeze off the ocean. It was a fantastic way to see Tybee Island and get the insider info about the BEST places to eat and drink. Best tour we did while in Savannah and maybe my favorite of all time. Thank you guys!!

Great tour. We stopped at multiple restaurants/ bars. Were given history of the city and the state of Georgia. And all stops had alcoholic beverages as an option. It was a great time.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Shannon. Her storytelling about Savannah’s history was engaging, and her sense of humor made the entire experience even more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to include the cost of the mojito/mocktail in the tour price to avoid the extra expense at that stop. Otherwise, it was absolutely worth it and a truly delightful afternoon.

We loved absolutely everything about this tour! Gail was an outstanding guide, and she was very knowledgeable of all the history of the different sites and origins of the delicious food that we sampled along the way. What a lovely way to get to know our way around the charming city of Savannah.

Had briefly visited Savannah before, but this made for a much more satisfying experience. Really good combination of food and area history. All of the food stops had interesting and tasty offerings and they were well paced with the walk around the downtown and harbor areas. The guide was knowledgeable and personable. Our tour group interacted with each other well, too, which also made it an enjoyable experience. Well worth the cost and time spent. Highly recommend!!!!!

This was an awesome tour. The food was amazing. Anytime I’m traveling I will make sure that I check and see if they have a tour like this. Gail was absolutely the best!

We did this tour to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Our tour guide Christopher was full of information and made the whole experience enjoyable. We happened to be in very good tour group and by the end of the tour we were friends. The places we visited were diverse and the food tastings excellent. We would do it all over again.

This tour was recommended by neighbors who were here in the fall and enjoyed it. Bethany was full of knowledge and started the tour with each of us sharing a little info about ourselves. She was full of great stories and information on the drinks and food. Our 7 tour companions were a variety of ages and experiences. We hit it off and had a great time, lots of laughs and stories! Bethany kept us going at a nice pace, she was a wonderful tour guide!

Shannon was fabulous! The tour was informative, funny, and tasty! It was a great 3 hours in Savannah. Highly recommend! We got to meet folks from far away places, who were also people who booked this tour. We learned lots of cool stuff about Savannah and tasted great food along the way. This was money and time well spent!

Fun tour- food sampling plus drinks can be bought and can walk with them. Interesting and easy paced . Especially nice on a beautiful sunny day.
