In Vegas for the weekend - searched for new things to do in Vegas and stumbled upon this concept! 10/10 highly recommend - one of the staff mentioned that they just opened. As a creative this was exactly the outlet I needed to get away from the city for a minute. I’ve never touched a controller, but the team helped me out and I felt like a pro by the end of my session. Will be back and I plan to tell others to check this place out as well.

Learning to DJ at The Ctrl Room was definitely one of my favorite experiences so far in Vegas. My friend and I went to a Ladies Night event not knowing much of what to expect, but we really enjoyed ourselves. The setup was really nice. There were 6 or 7 individual stations, each one fully equipped with everything you'd need to feel like a professional DJ and included a ring light, phone holder, and an iRig so you can record your mix in real time as you're making it. They clearly thought through every detail of the solo practice experience. The instructors were also great. They broke down the basics in a way that actually made sense, and when we were experimenting with mixes they gave useful feedback instead of just hyping us up. A few suggestions...The space is an open format which means you're mixing alongside everyone else. It can be easy to get distracted a bit listening to everyone else's mixes playing at the same time. It was fine for the event, but it might be nice if they had 1-2 private rooms for one on one sessions separate from the group. Also in the group setting, it would be better if there were 2 tvs to show the deck and view of Serato at the same time instead of having to switch back and forth. Overall, I had a great time!! I've been telling all my friends about it since. I hope they have another ladies night again soon. If you've ever been even a little curious about DJing or a seasoned DJ looking for tips or a place to practice, this is the place to find out whether it's for you.

I had such an amazing experience at CTRL Room. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and genuinely inspiring. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience, they make learning how to DJ feel exciting and approachable. The instructors were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about music. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable using the equipment and understanding the basics of mixing. I never felt intimidated, and that made the experience even better. What really stood out to me was how hands on and interactive the session was. Instead of just watching, I was actually learning by doing, which made it so much fun. The studio setup and equipment were top tier, and the overall vibe made me feel confident and motivated to keep learning. If you are in Las Vegas and have ever wanted to learn how to DJ, I highly recommend CTRL Room. It was such a fun, memorable experience, and I left feeling inspired, empowered, and excited to continue practicing. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
