New favorite restaurant in AC. Amazing cocktails, the wedge salad was great. The roasted fennel ricotta ravioli knocked my socks off. Chicken was good too although I’ll go spicy next time. Sauce was a bit heavy on the oregano for my personal taste so a bit rustic. Still very good. Thinking of returning tonight
This place is a serious gem in the rough. Cocktails are unique, food is really good and the ambiance is like walking back into the 80’s. Great for a date night sitting at the bar, or with a group at the lounge, or dinning room with a larger party/family. This is definitely a destination to experience whether you’re in the area or coming into town for the night. Maybe even start the night with clams casino and espresso martini 🤝!
No notes. Awesome retro atmosphere, great food, and very accommodating service. My wife and I went recently for her birthday/ our anniversary and we had an excellent time. We got there about 20 minutes before our reservation, so we hung out at the bar for happy hour. The bar is original, and is like walking into a time capsule. We grabbed a couple mini martinis and some clams casino while waiting for our table. The old CRT TV was a nice touch. Pretty sure I caught an old Orson Welles ad. After we were seated we got a few more cocktails - the Kathy Burke (aka the meatini) and the Mr. Ireland (aka the pistachio martini). Both were knockouts. The meatini is a super dirty martini with a salami, olive, and cherry pepper garnish (made with salami infused vodka) and it tasted like an Italian hoagie in the best way possible. The pistachio negroni was less bitter than a typical negroni and was very smooth on the palate. It tasted sort of like marzipan. My wife also got the Girl Dinner cocktail later on, which is a dirty gin martini with blue cheese olives and side of gummy worms. Also delicious. For our dinner, we got a plate of the citrus marinated olives, a wedge salad, an order of meatballs, the spicy vodka rig, and the orecchiette with crab sauce. Each dish was better than the last. The wedge salad is inspired by White House Subs hoagie dressing, and I never thought I'd want to eat an entire head of iceberg lettuce until trying it. The spicy vodka rig hit all the marks, but the best part of the meal for me was the orechiette with crab sauce. I grew up eating this dish, but this was the best I've had. TLDR: 10/10. Make sure to visit if you're in AC if you like good food and drink.
In my albeit limited experience in Atlantic City, this is my favorite restaurant without a doubt. The food was fantastic and the service was fun and kind. On Thursdays they have $5 martinis with complimentary meatballs, and the meatballs were delicious. I also had an order of mussels and an order of clams, and both were great (and affordable too!). I ate at the bar and was taken in by the other patrons like family. Angelino's was so much fun and I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in town. My only regret is not going sooner.
Celia was our waitress and she was a ROCKSTAR. The vibe of this place is stunning. I am not from AC or else this is a place I would frequently come to drink with friends. The food however needs a revamp. A lot of the dishes were greasy or had a sharp acidic taste. I think if the head chef just revamped the menu, it would be stellar. Still absolutely worth it and when I’m in AC, I’ll be back. GREAT STAFF
loveeee the vibe of this place. just stopped in for drinks. espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had! bartender was super nice. awesome spot for AC! we will be back!
Perfect in so many ways..from the food to the management to the decor... Definitely get the lemon basil donut, or have a martini and a meatball, you will not be disappointed.
A Late-Night Gem with Retro Vibes & Unforgettable Flavors! My partner and I stumbled upon this place during a late-night craving in Atlantic City, and wow—I’m obsessed. From the moment we walked in around 10:30 PM on a Saturday, the retro 70s/80s decor & music transported us to another era. The vibe was electric, thanks to a DJ spinning throwback tunes that matched the aesthetic perfectly. We started with drinks, and I was thrilled they could craft a -passionfruit martini &mocktail*—it was divine, served with a cute little shooter of Sprite (such a classy touch!). For appetizers, the crabcake (with butter and arugula) and meatballs were both delicious, but the real star was the rib tip pappardelle. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the homemade noodles were perfection, and the rich sauce had us savoring every bite. We took tiramisu to go, and it might be the best I’ve had in years. Shoutout to our server, who was an absolute doll—attentive, warm, and added to the fantastic experience. This place is nostalgic, fun, and serves food worth raving about. We also got two beautiful post cards to take home when the check came. If I could teleport this restaurant to my hometown, I would. 10/10—will be telling everyone to go!
ness! This place! I don’t even know where to start. First of all, our server was phenomenal. She had so many suggestions, Made us laugh and was just so nice. She actually fit the vibe of the place extra extraordinarily well. Her name was nicole if you can get one of her tables The food was amazing. They literally have anything that you are craving. Something small, a starter, and the entrées are great. We had some homemade chips with the different sauces and absolutely loved it. We then have a sausage peppers and onions as a starter… The homemade pasta was to die for,,, And the tiramisu was perfect perfectly done. I had the margarita with snacks and dinner… And an espresso martini with the tiramisu. The drinks were recommended by Our server. I did try a drink at the beginning that I didn’t like that was not recommended. One of the managers or owners came over to the table and asked how everything was and when I Told her I wasn’t happy with my drink, she quickly exchanged it for me. Hubby and I shared everything and want to go back to Trei so many more things. Looking to go back with Friends to try all their small snacks with some really cool drinks and just hang Which brings us to the atmosphere. It has got this sexy vibe that I’m in love with. Honestly, we could sit there and talk or not talk…. Just being in this vibe and elephant was actually really kind of cool Go for one of their specialty cocktails, ask for nicole…. And don’t plan on rushing in and out. This is a place that you sit and enjoy.

This is the best spot in AC - the drinks are a 10/10 (especially the espresso martini which comes with salt and they will make decaf if you really want to party ). Part of me doesn’t want to tell anyone about this because it’s the best kept secret in AC. Great food, great drinks, great service, great vibes. Highly recommend!
I love this place and these people. Get the special pizza (mushrooms and sausage) and onion rings every time because I’m boring and because they’re consistent. They’re also really nice people, but you’ll have to judge that yourself.
Go there. Classic pizza, italian, and bar food. Takes you back in time. Great atmosphere and good place to have some drinks with friends while eating whatever you want.
Great restaurant and food Very inexpensive with a great amount of food that is delicious and is great value. The best roast beef sandwiches in New Jersey. Service is very good and excellent location. Been coming here for 50 years and it never disappoints me
Pizza was great. Homemade dough. I placed an order for pick up and it was ready at the time promised. stayed at the nearby Tropicana. Easy walking distance.
Great place for a dinner or lunch! The food is home made, tasty and great price! We had drinks also and they were well made and great price. We love visiting Tony's when we come to AC. This time, we went twice (once for dinner and the next day for lunch).. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The bartender was very nice and attentive. We will definitely recommend it to all of our friends!
When you’re done with the glitz of the casino restaurants, roll up your sleeves and get busy with a clams casino pizza. Get the salad too, it’s huge. The bartenders are some of the best in the business. This place is old school perfection.
Pub in one room, dining in another. Vintage decor, old-school friendly service in this legacy family owned and operated property. Excellent pizza and pasta, prices are right, it's terrific.
Fantastic service! I was starving and the salad was on the table in the blink of an eye. Rustic old time pizzeria that brings you back to your childhood. Food is great service is fantastic! I will definitely be back! Hard to find that home town feeling AC but this is it. 70’s style 🥰
Great place! I’m not particularly a fan of Atlantic city, but this place is awesome. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you’re in town good food and not pricey like most other places.
Five stars all around! Swanky bar perfect for brunch. I ordered a crab omlettw which was delicious. Love the retro playlist here. I had a bloody Maria. Also make sure to ask for the brown butter bourbon espresso martini.
Always a good time, the most delicious take on Old Fashioneds (The Merlino) and spicy vodka rigatoni. 😋😋😋😋😋 I wish they did entreé-sized pasta flights, I can never decide, it's all so yummy! The staff is great, super friendly & knowledgeable.
Stopped at this place on a whim last weekend and it was so awesome. Walking in is like stepping back into some swanky 1970s bar. The decor 10/10. The bartender was friendly and offered suggestions as well as answered questions we had about the drinks. I started off with a hibiscus margarita. Very floral, very tasty. We ordered the little bit of everything tapas, a fun little mix of things to nibble on including warm olives, chicharones, and pub cheese. My friend and I also split 5 clams casino---I would skip these, just too small for my taste but everything in genera was awesome. I finished off with the Kathy Burke, a cocktail made from housemade vodka. It's got hints of salami, cherry peppers, vinegar. Sounds weird, tastes good. Don't miss this place it was awesome.
This restaurant caught my eye for its old AC charm and cool date night vibes. The mussels were 10/10 as well as the pasta. They have some of the best cocktail mixes I’ve seen around. I got the Merlino and it was a complete game changer. If you love an old fashion this is a must try Had a hiccup with my toast deposit and the owner was able to rectify the situation with me. Thank you & I will definitely be back!
I feel like I can't say anything positive that hasn't already been said. The vibe is amazing, the service team is super attentive, the food should be zagat rated, and the owners are the absolute nicest people you will never know you met when you were there.
My friend had pizza and I had chicken parm. Both were very good. Pub atmosphere, cleanish, parking, lots of beers to choose from. I would go again. I've been there a few times.
If you’re looking for huge portions of lackluster Italian food you can keep it moving and head on down the street to Tropicana to stand around the slot machine patrons who are rummaging through their casino vouchers outside of Carmine’s. Julia & the team at Angeloni’s are crafting up cocktails & dishes that make you want to come back every Thursday night for martinis & meatballs (regardless of the Friday morning hangover that might await you). I’ve tried every pasta on the menu, and the Short Rib Pappardelle was the star of the show with the Crab Orecchiette following at a close 2nd. The Chicken Parmesan was perfectly crispy and is offered both spicy & original - the spicy has more of an acidic spice (like pepperoncini rather than red pepper flake) - but both equally delicious! Long story short, bring your Tums, split a few pasta dishes, and end your evening with an Alibi cocktail at Angeloni’s. Money well spent.
Beautifully crafted cocktails and amazing food. Our first visit was so good we’re already planning on round two. Happy hour is a great way to taste lots of things for a great price. House made ricotta, should’ve taken some home. Salty and creamy, with smoky grilled focaccia. Calamari and basil aioli, chefs kiss. Amber behind the bar was pleasant and friendly. Great drink menu

This is the coolest place in AC. Drinks and atmosphere 10/10. The design is so well done and captures the period the original club was in its prime so incredibly well. Higher priced cocktails that are worth it, because it is a privilege to have real estate at the bar.
