Our team at LEAF Commercial Capital was looking for a fun team bonding event to celebrate an incredible 2025. We achieved many milestones last year, but most importantly, we were celebrating a record-breaking year in originations. Holey Moley in Irvine turned out to be the perfect place to mark the occasion.
The experience was seamless from the start. I filled out a form on their website and spoke within 24 hours to Derek, who was great to work with. The booking process was straightforward; we were able to select packages for appetizers and drinks easily, and we had the event booked within hours.
Although scheduling conflicts kept our full roster from attending, we had 34 people join the fun. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly team that was completely ready for us. They gave clear instructions on how everything worked and even took group photos of our staff right away—I was immediately impressed by their organization.
A huge shout-out goes to Megan M., Ivan, and Destiny. They were incredible—organized, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring we had a great time.
One specific thing that stood out to me, which I rarely see, is how genuinely happy the staff seemed. I actually asked Megan M. and Ivan about it, and they mentioned that their CEO and management team treat them very well. As a leader who prides myself on the culture we’ve built at our own organization—and doing whatever we can to take care of our employees—it was refreshing to see another company, especially in this space, succeeding at that.
Once we settled in, the team hit the bar for drinks, and the food arrived promptly over the next 30 minutes. The 9 holes of mini-golf were a blast and provided exactly the kind of fun, relaxed atmosphere we wanted.
