The Dolly House

My family and I came from Logan County Ky to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The Retreat was the perfect place. We stayed at the Dollyhouse. From the fishing right outside our back door, to the coziness of the tiny home , it was the perfect vacation. We would recommend the Retreat as a quiet and peaceful escape from fast paced life. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, kayaking, and fishing several times a day. Awesome adventure!

The Retreat at Water’s Edge was stunning. Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The Dolly House was a delight. We had 4 adults (no couples) and found the beds to be just okay. The inside seating was limited which we sort of knew from the listing pictures however we hung out outside often. Overall we had a nice time and liked that we could rent canoes and explore the lake.

Just what our family needed ! A break from the norm , we hiked , we fished, we laughed , enjoyed the hot tub , smores, campfire , had the best time . The Dolly house was exceptional! I admit I was skeptical with a family of 6,turns out it was perfect ! See you next year !!!

Great stay for a quick getaway. Clean, tranquil and had everything we needed.

Enjoyed our short getaway. The community area is tranquil. We felt safe, enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, birding and fun times at multiple concerts over the weekend nearby at The Caverns. The dolly house was cute, clean and stocked with plenty of supplies. The front and back porch seating areas and dolly memorabilia are a nice and fun touch to the place. The lakeside hot tub was so nice! With the cool autumn air after a long hike in nearby parks a hot soak in a jacuzzi was perfect. Great way to relax by the water!

This was our first time staying in a tiny home. There was plenty of room for my wife and myself. The home was very clean and the views from the back yard were awesome. We would definitely recommend this home. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your tiny home.

We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, fire pit and porch swing. The lake view was amazing, outdoor string lighting was a nice added touch. The house was clean and inviting. Loved all of Dolly memorabilia. Very tastefully done and too many extra features to mention. The bbq tools, beach towels, laundry detergent, hair dryer, cutting board, etc. It was obvious the owner wanted their guests to feel right at home. Very responsive host as well. Appreciated the early check in feature for a small extra fee. My partner and I would definitely consider returning again.

If you’re a Dolly Parton fan this is your place. We were in town for an event and the Dolly tiny home was next door to the home family had rented. Far enough away to feel private, close enough to be a short walk.

From the moment you walk into the home, you feel the love and care that went into creating this beautiful home. Thank you for letting my daughter and I experience this very special place.
