Chris was an incredible tour guide—so patient, fun, and made us feel completely safe the entire time! We had an absolute blast on the Slaughterhouse run. And a huge shoutout to Trevor, the hidden photographer, for capturing all the excitement along the way—such a sweet surprise to relive those moments! If you’re looking for an unforgettable rafting experience, Thunder River Adventures is the way to go. These guys are the best!

10/10 The Thunder River Adventures whitewater rafting trip I recently took with my family was one of the most exciting and wonderful events I've ever had. Our guide Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the river and surroundings, the flora and fauna, the environment, and (seemingly) everything we saw. He made us all feel very comfortable and safe and we loved his many "dad jokes", which he delivered with the deadpan accuracy of a veteran Disney "Jungle Cruise" captain. (The photos taken by his associate from the shore were fantastic, too!) I have been whitewater rafting several times across the country and this was -- by far -- the best excursion I've ever had. I *highly* recommend Thunder River Adventures to anyone visiting the Aspen area. Be prepared to get wet!

We had the absolute BEST experience white water rafting with Thunder river adventures! Our guides Chris and Chris were phenomenal. Not only did they lead us through the rapids with skill and precision, but they also kept the mood light and fun with stories, jokes, and encouragement. You can tell this team truly loves what they do and cares about giving every guest an amazing time. They also had the most reasonable prices compared to other companies that offer the exact same trip. This company goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable adventure. This trip was AWESOME. Kate was fantastic, professional, and such a pleasure to have as our host. We asked for a casual scenic route and she took us down a beautiful spot on the river. She answered all of our 1000 questions and made this such a fun experience. She navigated our raft so easily and smoothly. I would choose this company 100 more times for any level of difficulty.

I HAD AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TIME! My Coworker, myself, and two other people went rafting at the amazing Thunder River Adventures! I WAS SHAKING IN MY BOOTS (direct quote) and honestly for no reason Kate reassured me in every way possible that I was okay, answering questions, giving tutorials, and periodically doing check ups to make sure I was still doing okay. (I was very much being over dramatic) Not only would I go back and do it again, but this time WITHOUT the boot shaking and with 10 TIMES MORE CONFIDENCE !
