Vagalume Tulum: Daytime & Nighttime Dining

We ate at Vagalume our first night in Tulum and it was delicious. There were 2 of us and we were the only ones dining that evening as they were starting to close. The ambience was great but the music was loud, bass-heavy party beach club music. We enjoyed it but if that is not your music style, you may not enjoy your experience. Food was amazing. We had the fried cauliflower in a pumpkin sauce and the beef that was cooked in a pineapple with cheese, then serve it with fresh tortillas. Apologies for not knowing the actual names of the dishes. Both unreal, and we were totally full after sharing these 2 dishes. Service was impeccable. Only con was the cocktails were expensive (380 MXN) and tasted average. Mine was similar to an old-fashioned but tasted watered down. This price is not unique to Vagalume as it is the same for cocktails up and down this strip but I would expect a spectacular cocktail for that price point. Would go here for a nice dinner out based on the prices.

The place has the energy like nothing else. The staff is very accommodating. Famous for electronic music events. Do check out their event schedule before planning your trip for a great experience. The cover charge to enter is also not very high considering it’s Tulum.

Celebrated our anniversary at Vagalume and everything about this experience was so special. Valencia and tony were incredible. 13/10 would recommend!

Our evening at Vagalume Tulum was truly unforgettable! The place has such a magical atmosphere, and everything from the music to the setting was perfect. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the cocktails were amazing. What really made the difference was the service — Ángel and Lalo took care of every detail with so much kindness and attention. They made us feel welcome from the first moment and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy the night. Thanks to them, our experience went from great to exceptional. We can’t wait to come back soon!

I had such a wonderful experience at Vagalume in Tulum! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were perfectly made. What really stood out was the incredible service. David and Orlando went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were super attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening so enjoyable. Truly amazing customer service that made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my birthday here and Erick was our serve. He was amazing, the service was great, and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to try somewhere new!

Valencia and Orlando were absolutely amazing. The attention to detail!! The food was delicious and plentiful. Large servings. Excellent flavor. Someone is always available to attend to whatever you need. The restaurant is clean and safe. Fans are blowing. The bathrooms are great. We had a large party with no complaints whatsoever. We came for a birthday and they brought out a delicious cake for our birthday gal. They check for allergies (which our group has) and ensured the food and drinks meet our requirements. There’s also a market where artisans display handmade items. My friend bought a dress that looks custom made just for her. Highly recommend this place when you visit Tulum.

The food is amazing, the best food I had in Tulum. The service is also great! Valencia and Tony Fabiano were amazing serving us! Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing service! The servers are very nice and caring! The staff are all very attentive, shout out to David we had him as a server and he was very nice! Highly recommend this place for a good drink and meal!

Super delicious food!! Great service, we had David & Gabriel as our servers they were super kind and made us feel luxurious💗 It has a fun vibe to it, not a lot of people dancing, but we went on a Wednesday night so that makes sense. Great drinks! I had the burger and it was so amazing as well as the Largata mixed drink and we were treated amazing here. Wish there was better music, but it was still enjoyable

The place is a bit pricey but worth the service and food and drink. I really enjoyed my experience here. Fantastic service super friendly staff and the place has amazing food. Did I forget the vibe It's awesome. Washrooms were super clean and even had AC in them
