Welcome to Good Life Vacation Rental Resort, a fully renovated property brought to hotel standards and reopened in the summer of 2022. This resort features private rooms and event spaces within a larger complex that includes ten vacation rentals and four event venues.

Guests can expand their reservation to include up to 34 bedrooms throughout the resort, making it an ideal location for corporate retreats, breakout groups, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, family reunions, and weddings of up to 200 guests. The property also accommodates beach groups of 100–200 guests and intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests at the Bamboo Garden.

The resort includes private beaches, event and meeting spaces, and flexible options suitable for both leisure and corporate guests at rates well below standard hotel pricing. Its proximity to the convention center, Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego International Airport, and downtown entertainment means guests are only minutes away from many local attractions, easily accessible by taxi or rideshare. With its bring-your-own-food-and-alcohol policy, the resort allows corporate groups and event hosts to save significantly on catering costs while enjoying exclusive private-use areas.

Your reservation includes all private spaces reserved exclusively for your group: the Sanctuary, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom suite with twelve beds, ADA access, and 2,200 square feet of well-designed space featuring a large live-edge dining table for thirty, two Wi-Fi-enabled TVs for meetings, desks, and chairs; a private Sanctuary deck suitable for lounging or hosting events with catering and food truck access; a two-bedroom Bunk Rental with eight beds, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette; a two-bedroom Monastery with eleven beds and two bathrooms; and the Castaway Suite, a one-bedroom ADA-accessible unit with two beds and a large accessible bathroom.

The resort also offers optional event upgrades, allowing guests to host private gatherings for up to 250 people with an additional waiver and payment. Available venues include the Beach Boardwalk, Bamboo Garden, Event Tents, and Game Tent. Early check-in, late checkout, event hosting, and pet-friendly accommodations can be arranged upon request.

As a licensed California hotel, guests are required to upload valid identification through the resort’s welcome software to receive Wi-Fi access, entry codes, and parking details. Unbooked event areas and the Beach Boardwalk lobby are open for guest enjoyment unless reserved for private use, and guests are encouraged to inquire about available time slots.

Private guest access includes gated parking for three vehicles, the Sanctuary with its outdoor event deck featuring two BBQ grills, string lighting, shaded dining areas, and a gated setup, as well as access to the Bunk, Monastery, and Castaway rentals. Shared resort amenities include the Beach Boardwalk, open to all guests, which can be reserved for private events for an additional fee.
