My birthday weekend at REST was truly amazing. The location, views, pool, and amenities were exceptional everything felt clean, intentional, and thoughtfully designed. From the plush towels and robes to the overall layout, it genuinely felt like a true wellness experience where every detail had been considered. What made the experience most memorable, though, was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Cheryl, in particular, was an absolute angel she consistently checked in, even noticing us by the pool, and made sure everything felt just right. Her care and presence made such a difference. While they are still working through some operational details which is completely understandable for a newer hotel the level of hospitality was outstanding and far exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to return, and I’ve already shared my experience with friends and family. The warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care from the staff truly set this place apart.

Spent anniversary weekend here and it was awesome! Felt like a true escape while still enjoying great amenities like a bonfire, jacuzzi/pool, sauna and cold plunge. Rooms are very homey with thoughtful touches. And staff was super helpful and nice. Will be back!

Really peaceful spot. Loved the location close to Joshua Tree NP and the friendly and accommodating staff; everyone we encountered seemed invested in making sure our stay was excellent. My friends and I already have plans for a return trip. The only potential downside was the room, which while modern and comfortable, could be a bit small if shared. I had a room to myself so it was perfect.

It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day in the sun. 🏜️ The View & Room Tips You get an unparalleled, breathtaking view of the Joshua Tree landscape. * Pro Tip: I highly recommend booking the Mountain View suite. * Why? You get a much larger floor plan. While the other rooms still maintain that gorgeous "luxury vibe," they are a bit smaller. The extra space in the Mountain View makes a world of difference! Bottom line: I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a desert escape that balances rugged beauty with total comfort, this is it!!

Best place to stay in Joshua Tree. Everything is well thought out. The rooms are beautiful and do an excellent job of highlighting the desert. Sitting next to the fire pit after exploring the park was very nice. The staff were also incredibly kind and responsive. I was especially impressed by the thought that went into the property’s lighting. At night it is subtly lit up without disturbing the peaceful darkness of the desert. So nice and can’t wait to be back.

This January 2026 visit wtih my husband was my second stay - I also stayed in September 2025 with girlfriends. I had a great stay both times. The rooms and facilities lived up to what I had read in a couple of travel articles. The minimalist design still offered maximum comfort and functionality. The grounds/view are beautiful and the common areas encourage guest to meet and mingle. For those wanting more privacy, the individual courtyards for each room offered that option in style and comfort. I found the staff welcoming and striving to be accomodating. Mary was particularly helpful the night of our last stay. While not up to full opeating efficiency yet, I did not experience any significanat delays or problems. I really enjoyed the casual approach and the service that met all my needs. I'll definitely be visiting again.

I loved it, it was just what I needed. First i know the concept of cargo container hotel rooms may seem a little out there and when I got here it definitely felt like middle of no where, and I couldnt tell where the lobby was. but it was awesome because each room is freestanding, so you dont have noise pollution from your neighbors. I got the mountain view king and it came with firewood for the fire pit, thats sits on your patio along with a huge soaking tub which was worth it even in the fall. So you get moutain view, a cosy modern room an super soft pillows and bed, even the little gadets in the room were helpful. There was a little recharable lantern light that if you wanted to go walking around at night you could use. I used it for a night light. There is a bluetooth radio that awesome for blasting music from your phone. Its all very minimal but cosy as well. Valerie from the bar, gave me excellent suggestions for food. I went on a morning walk towards to mountains that was 🤌🏾. There was a little event Sunday night with a dj and artist. Oh and the view of the sky as well was perfect. I came to get away reset, if you will and i was definitely able to do it.

Our stay at Reset Hotel in Joshua Tree was truly one of a kind from the moment we checked in. As soon as we stepped foot on the property, we felt taken care of. The location and the space itself are absolutely incredible, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. The team working from 3pm to 11pm went above and beyond to make sure every need was met, and their kindness really made our stay feel special. We left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already wanting to come back.

I came here with an "resort pass" reservation. The entrance and check in process was very zen, very friendly staff. I was extremely impressed with the pool and the number of day beds. As I enjoyed the pool for the afternoon I met the nicest professional and high quality people at the pool. Everyone was visiting from someplace different and had great conversations with each of them. The bar had great service with a waitress walking around. The drinks were delish. Can't wait to return and bring my gf to stay in one of the rooms. Perfect location to all things outdoors & J Tree. Cheers!

The Reset Hotel is the shining star of Twenty-Nine Palms. Ideally located adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park and a few blocks from town, this resort is the perfect location to relax before and after visiting the national park. The staff is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The facility is located on 180 acres of land offering views of the desert landscape. The container rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The private patio with fire pit is a special treat to relax and enjoy star gazing. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my stay at Reset — it’s the definition of desert chic. I stayed in the Mountain View King Suite, which came with a private outdoor tub and fire pit. The front desk even set me up with a telescope (one of their newest amenities!) so I could stargaze and see the moon up close while sitting by the fire — such a special touch. The cold plunge and sauna were another highlight. They’re truly state-of-the-art, and with the mountains as the backdrop, I felt completely renewed after my contrast therapy sessions. The staff was so kind and attentive, and the Flamingo Estate products in the room added the perfect luxe finishing touch. Can’t wait to come back — Reset is pure magic. 🌵✨

The cocktails were fresh and expertly made, the bar has a lovely ambiance, and everything — from the rooms to the common spaces — was spotless and beautifully maintained. Each room has its own fire pit, and the hotel uses Flamingo Estate products, a wonderful touch that elevates the stay. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely breathtaking, and starting the day with yoga by the pool followed by a light breakfast treat was the perfect ritual. It truly feels like a sign of great things to come for this property. I wish the team the very best — it’s the staff who make this place so special — and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Joshua Tree.
