This quiet little hide-away gem is a great place for a refreshing respite from a busy world. Private cottages fully equipped with everything from fleece-lined robes and big cushy beds to a big basket of breakfast items left at your door every morning, are complimented with porch swings and native gardens. There's a great restaurant just a few steps away, a gift shop, and a luxurious spa! Great place for a wonderful weekend!

I had a great time and loved the hotel and spa. One of the best massages I have had. Easy access to Main Street. Nice staff.

Cannot recommend this place enough! The best place to stay while in Fredericksburg/The Hill Country. The cottages are so cozy and perfect for a couple, the bed extremely comfortable, the soaps and lotions smell amazing. Everything is thought out really well. We came here 6 years ago for our first anniversary and will continue to come here.

We loved our stay here! We had everything we needed and the cottages are absolutely adorable! The property is extremely charming and beautifully decorated. We had breakfast delivered every morning in a picnic basket to our door and housekeeping came in when we were gone during the day to make our bed.

This is such a beautiful place! You must stay here! The grounds are beautiful and picturesque. The cottages are adorable and perfect. I enjoyed sipping coffee on my own private porch while eating the breakfast which was delivered in the cutest basket to our door. The meal we ate in the restaurant was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Elizabeth in the gift shop was so nice and the merchandise is amazing. I could go on. This place is perfect!

Stayed here for my 40th birthday. The cabin was very clean, the beds extremely comfortable. They delivered breakfast every morning in a basket! It’s a charming place!! It’s not within walking distance to Main Street but is a 3 min drive. The location is perfect! We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful, quaint, and serene! It was the perfect place to stay with my husband for our anniversary trip. We enjoyed the breakfast baskets- the food was delicious! And it was so nice to eat outside on the porch each morning. The location of the hotel is a close drive to Main Street, and the staff are very nice. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic, cozy little place with plenty of quiet and relaxing gardens all around, yet less than a 10 minute drive from many things in Fredericksburg. The communication was informative and on time, and the people very nice. Much more enjoyable experience compared to a hotel and we will definitely go back again!

The Hill Country Herb Garden is a true gem nestled in a stunningly beautiful setting. I indulged in several spa treatments during my stay, and I have to say Ric Reyes gave me the best massage I’ve ever experienced. His technique was exceptional and deeply restorative. The on-site restaurant also exceeded my expectations, the steak was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Every detail, from the ambiance to the cuisine, made this an unforgettable retreat. Highly recommended!

The grounds were absolutely lovely, with a small stream pond, vibrant flowers, and herbs planted all around. We especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds flit by and visiting the adorable fluffy chickens in their coop. A sweet kitty even followed me around like a little tour guide—it was such a delightful surprise! The cottage itself was spotless and decorated with a calm, relaxing theme that instantly made us feel at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a breakfast basket left at our door—what a treat! The chocolate croissant and blueberry scones were heavenly. It’s just a short 5-minute drive from Main Street, so it was easy to explore, but honestly, we loved the quiet and charm of staying here even more. I would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway full of character and comfort.
