Bedroom with two queen beds. Full bathroom. Loft room with a queen bed and a sofa, offering extra space for relaxation or sleeping. Separate Apartment (Located above the garage on the second floor): King bedroom. Full bathroom. Complete kitchen with a dining area and comfortable living room. Boyne City is the perfect playground through all four seasons! You can visit the beach at Lake Charlevoix (Young State Park, Peninsula Beach and Tannery Beach are closest), downtown shops and restaurants, and access the hiking/biking trails at Avalanche Preserve (ice skating & sledding in the winter). Downtown Boyne City is always bustling with live music on Fridays during the summer, Farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and plenty of events and festivals throughout the year. Let the kids play at Veterans Park, catch a sunset at Sunset park, and watch the boats come and go in the Boyne City Marina. Notable day trips include Charlevoix and Petoskey (approx 20 min each), Mackinac Bridge (approx 1 hr), and Traverse City (approx 90 min). Boyne Mountain Resort is just 10 minutes away and offers something for everyone in every season. You’ll find everything from hiking/biking to swimming and watersports at Deer Lake, paintball, zip lines and championship golf in the summer. During the Fall, stop by for a scenic chairlift ride to take in the beautiful fall colors. In the Winter, you’ll find world-class cross country and downhill skiing and snowboarding, Sno-Go Biking, Fat Tire Snow biking, ice skating, snow tubing, snow shoeing. *Boyne Mountain Resort is also home to Avalanche Bay - Michigan’s largest indoor water park! Boyne Highlands: 40 min Nubs Nob (skiing/snowboarding): 40 min Young State Park: Just a few minutes from the house, you'll find plenty of sun and sand along the shoreline of Lake Charlevoix. There’s marked swimming, a boat launch, and plenty of hiking/biking/cross country ski/snowshoe trails throughout the park! Beaches: Peninsula Beach: sand and swimming, beach volleyball, picnic areas, grills, kayak/paddleboard launch. Getting around

Boyne City is walkable and bike-friendly, with dedicated lanes and multi-use paths that connect the waterfront, parks, and downtown without needing a car for most of what guests come here to do.

Charlevoix County Transit offers demand-response rides Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:30pm and can be reached at (231) 582-6900.

For day trips or resort runs, you'll want a car, and the nearest commercial airports are Pellston Regional (35 miles north) and Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City (64 miles south).
