Reviews for Fredericksburg Cottages with Hot Tubs, Firepits and Pickleball

Perfect getaway. All of the amenities and comforts, beautiful view, tastefully appointed, and close to Fredericksburg. We highly recommend Laurel Cottages.

Beautiful! Me and my girlfriend came to stay for a nice weekend and we had a wonderful time. Beds were so comfy, it was a great location to all the wineries and town. The hot tub is a great addition. Its so quiet and peaceful, we will definitely be back!

My husband and I booked a stay for our anniversary and we loved the cottage! It was very relaxing and comfortable. We were close enough to town when we wanted to go do something but also far enough out to enjoy the much needed peace. It was too chilly and windy for pickleball this time but we loved sitting on the porch in the hot tub or by the fire. Kimberley and Matthew were both great hosts and communicated with us very well. We are very pleased with our stay!

Great place if you like peaceful sunrises and chillin your hot tub underneath a blanket of stars. Close enough to the action, but far enough to enjoy the hill country. Uber can pick you us right at the gate:) Great place!

Description and photos are exactly what you get here. So cute and cozy! We enjoyed the hot tub every night while looking out at the beautiful stars. Provided coffee (real mugs too), shampoo, conditioner and soap, bug spray, a binder of recommendations, telescope, and plenty of towels. The bed was cozy with the AC 👌. There are 3 cottages and we felt like we had our privacy. It’s maybe a 20 min drive into town. Wineries are nearby as well. We would highly recommend and def stay here again. The host communicated throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. If you want to get out and away but somewhat close to town this is the place. Don’t wait. BOOK IT! ❤️

We had such a wonderful and relaxing weekend! We enjoyed playing both cornhole and pickleball, which made our stay even more fun. The hot tub was absolutely amazing—exactly what we needed to unwind—and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which is always a huge plus for us. We truly got the rest we needed. One of our favorite little touches was the record player. We loved putting on some records and just enjoying the atmosphere—it added such a cozy and unique vibe to the experience. Even with other guests nearby, we still felt very comfortable and had plenty of privacy, which we really appreciated. The property is also in a great location—close enough to everything Fredericksburg has to offer, yet just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet without being in the middle of the crowds. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely consider coming back again the next time we visit Fredericksburg. Highly recommend!

Laurel Court Cottages is a wonderful place to stay if you need a peaceful getaway. It was nice to have activities like the pickleball court, cornhole, and a relaxing hot tub! Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. We told Kimberly and Matthew it was my husband and I’s anniversary, and they surprised us with sparkling wine and chocolate. They gave us clear instructions on everything, which was really nice and also a binder of recommendations on where to eat. The cottages are about 20 min away from shopping, but we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle.

We loved how thoughtful and beautiful the cottage was! Thing like the wagon to help move luggage (we don’t pack lightly) and umbrellas made our lives so much better. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud!

My husband and I loved our stay here. Everything was exactly as described and listed in the pictures. We even enjoyed the extra little touches not mentioned in the listing like the ice molds in the freezer. We didn’t have any issues we needed to contact the host for however we did get to meet them when they were out working on the property and they were very friendly and offered us recommendations if we wanted them. We loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave. We absolutely will be coming back for another visit!

We had such a wonderful stay at this adorable cabin in Fredericksburg! It’s perfectly located about 18–20 minutes from Main Street, so you get the convenience of being close to town while still enjoying peace and quiet. Kimberly was an incredible host — very accommodating and attentive to any questions we had. We were even welcomed with a personalized handwritten note, which made the stay feel extra special and thoughtful. The cabin was exactly as pictured — no surprises, just as charming and cozy as we hoped. The hot tub on a cold evening was the perfect way to wind down and relax. It’s such a quiet, serene location, ideal for unplugging and recharging. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made it even harder to leave! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Fredericksburg getaway.

Extremely amazing hosts! Booked this for our honeymoon right after our wedding. Perfect intimate place! Both hosts helped with anything needed and offer great places to visit! We can’t recommend this place enough, definitely coming back!

We went for our 10 year anniversary and it was a perfect get away. We were able to use all the amenities provided and it was only 20 minutes from town that it didn’t feel too far. The bed was so cozy, and the records were a nice touch. Perfect for a relaxing and quiet few days.

This was a great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful, but a short drive to town made it convenient. It was exactly as advertised. The cleanliness really stood out and shows the efforts the host puts into maintaining this place. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary. The hot-tub, fireplace, sunrise views…just the perfect spot to relax and disconnect from schedules and connect with each other. Got in a few fun games of pickleball too…our newest empty nester activity. Great memories made!

Beautiful cottage! Exactly as pictured. Beautiful and peaceful scenery as well. Extremely clean. Incredibly responsive host. Kimberly even reached out to let me know I would be able to have a great view of the harvest moon from the porch the night I was there. Just a few minutes from some of the coolest wineries while feeling like I was staying out in the middle of the country at the same time. Would HIGHLY recommend this host and home!!! :)

We had the most perfect stay! This was our first trip to Fredericksburg and we loved every minute. The cute decor, hot tub and of course, pickleball court, really put it over the top! Don’t miss the information book with recommendations for local restaurants! We can’t say enough about how much we loved it and can’t wait to visit again!

This was the perfect place for a quiet anniversary getaway! Clean, modern, without an amenity overlooked. Incredibly soft and comfortable bed and bedding, massive shower, cozy towels, and clean hot tub. 10-15 minutes drive into Fredericksburg, but the beautiful and relaxing views could keep you at the cottage the whole time. Will definitely come back!

10 Stars if I could. Listening to Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger, on an old school record player, while basking in the hot tub was such a relaxing way to spend a night after ALL day of wineries! Matthew and Kimberley were the BEST hosts, super attentive and accommodating. I will tell anyone and everyone to stay here if you’re going to Hill Country.

“Perfect Getaway for Pickleball Lovers!” We had a fantastic stay at the pickleball cottage! The private court was in excellent condition, and it was such a treat to play anytime we wanted. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true retreat. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just looking to have some fun, this spot is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!
