My friends and I came to Napa Pride, and we stayed at this charming LGBTQ-friendly boutique hotel in downtown Napa. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and gracious. If you want to experience the true downtown Napa experience, you must stay here. Plus there is onsite parking, a lovely front porch to sip wine, and just a few blocks from fabulous restaurants, wine tasting rooms, art galleries and so much more. I cannot wait to go back to The Charles!

Came for my birthday and spent 4 nights. I don't think I can express how amazing of an experience that we had. I have never felt such personalized care and attention while on vacation. Every aspect of out stay was top notch. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning.

The best B&B in Napa! My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at the Charles Hotel in Napa after a camping trip! We received personalized self-check in instructions before arriving so getting situated was a breeze. We stayed in the Starry Night room and were delighted to discover the room had a jacuzzi tub, which was just what we needed after sleeping outside! Better than we knew to expect. We loved staying in such a finely curated establishment, where there was a real sense of history and connection to the architecture of the building in the design and decoration of the space. The courtyard was such a lovely place to have a nightcap around the fire pits. Our breakfasts were delicious and Dolly, the chef and innkeeper, was so kind and hospitable. It was so nice to be at a real Bed and Breakfast and we enjoyed the communal table in the morning, which was a nice opportunity for connection. As a lesbian couple, we really appreciated being in an environment that’s designed with us in mind. We will absolutely be staying here again and will bring friends!

We stayed for our 3-year anniversary, and the staff was so nice. The room was quiet and cute, and the jacuzzi tub was clean.

The Charles was fantastic!!! Arrival was welcoming, as though we were old time friends. The main part of the house was clearly recently remodeled and painted, all while keeping with the old time charm of the house. Our room was large, and we never felt cramped. Breakfast was so good that we kept bringing it up during the day. And the scones are not to be missed!!! It is now our go-to place in Napa. Could not recommend higher.

I have stayed at hotels, Airbnb’s, and bed and breakfasts all over the world. I would hold The Charles Napa in the very top tier of them all. The purpose of my trip was to ask the girl of my dreams to marry me. The courtyard, fountains, fire pits, and landscaping were so beautiful that our first night there, of all the places in Napa, I decided to propose to her. This place is a must-stay.

I chose The Charles because of its location near downtown. It was very convenient and pleasant to walk there from the hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They also served a delicious breakfast buffet and evening snacks. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. Great for a relaxing getaway.
