Me and my group of 13 stayed here for my 30th birthday weekend, and it was amazing! There was enough space for everyone and the AirBnb was a 10 min walk or less to nearby grocery stores & restaurants which was very convenient. You can also walk to the FQ but there were always Ubers ready and available for our convenience.

Our group had a great time at this spot! Looked like the photos/description, host was responsive when we had questions, thick/soundproof walls so other groups weren’t an issue for us. Felt very private and secluded from the street despite being close to other houses. Overall, highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot for our large group! Plenty of space to hang by the pool at the Airbnb, easy walk to great restaurants and bars, and a quick uber to Frenchmen Street.

At a glance, all of the properties owned by The Syd look stunning, super modern & chic -- perfect for my bachelorette! I've had experiences before where I've booked a property owned by a rental company but The Syd really exceeded my expectations! I had initially booked a different property with them but they were gracious enough to let me switch over to a different property when the number of attendees in my bachelorette party had changed. Everyone I spoke to at The Syd was super professional, kind and responsive & the biggest plus was that the airbnb was BIGGER than the pictures showed us. If I ever come back to NOLA, I will definitely be back to book one of their properties since they have my trust. Thank you again for everything!

The syd is the by far the nicest property in the neighborhood. Once you go in the main gate you are in a separate oasis. Feels very secluded even though you are in the middle of town in a tight neighborhood. Had no issues parking multiple vehicles on the street. Host was excellent with questions about the area.

We had an amazing stay at The Syd! The house had plenty of space for all 14 of us to relax comfortably in the beautiful common areas. The pool area was stunning, and even after a nighttime storm, the crew had everything tidied up by the next morning so we could fully enjoy it. The location was perfect—right between our planned activities in the Garden District and the French Quarter. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to recharge for each day. On top of everything, the generous late check-out that was approved made our departure stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend The Syd!

We absolutely loved this place for my bachelorette! It’s a perfect location—quiet and safe but still easily walkable to tons of restaurants and to the French District. The host is extremely responsive and communicative. The outdoor space is lovely. The space was very clean and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend.

The Syd was amazing! We had 12 folks here for a bachelor party and it totally exceeded expectations. Everyone had a nice bed, plenty of full bathrooms, nice living room setup with two huge TVs, and the kitchen was also stacked with two large fridges. We enjoyed time in the hot tub and pool with March Madness playing on the poolside TV. The location was tucked away and private, and the surrounding area was quiet with nice restaurants (Mais Arepas) and coffee (French Truck Coffee) walking distance away. Easy and quick Ubers from both the airport and into the French Quarter or downtown. Would not stay anywhere else but here if we return!
