About this Property

Welcome to The Jackpot. You've found something special!

This is a one of a kind luxury group home on Chicago's North Side, designed for groups who want more than just a place to sleep. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps 14. Every bedroom has real beds (king, queen, full, and twin configurations) and the cinema room doubles as a crash ready lounge with two full size memory foam sleeper sofas.

The entire home was designed by an indie designer under a "Chicago Modern Deco Revival" vision. Warm tones, brass fixtures, sage accents, and a sputnik chandelier that catches light like a starburst. Every room has a vibe. Every detail was chosen, not defaulted.

Here is what your group gets for one nightly rate:

  • An entire 3 level professionally designed home, not a shared space

  • A hot tub under a louvered pergola with string lights, privacy curtains, and LED lights. Best after midnight.

  • A 120 inch 4K cinema with surround sound, memory foam couches, bean bags, and a popcorn machine. Bring the debate about what to watch.

  • A game room with foosball, ping pong, poker set, a record player with vinyl, and a fully stocked bar. Nobody's leaving this room.

  • A fire pit with lounge chairs in a private fenced backyard. The kind of night where phones stay inside.

  • A sun room with a wicker sectional, bench seating, and privacy curtains. Morning light, afternoon naps, the room everyone migrates to.

  • A full chef's kitchen with Nespresso, milk frother, artisanal teas, flavor pumps, and dining for 14

  • A propane BBQ grill

  • 5 bedrooms with real beds (king, queen, full, twin) plus 2 memory foam sleeper sofas in the cinema room

  • 3 full bathrooms with fresh towels and toiletries

  • Smart TVs with streaming apps in every room

  • Bluetooth speakers and high speed WiFi throughout

  • Washer and dryer

  • A 2 car garage plus parking passes for the permitted street

  • Central AC and heat

  • Self check-in with a personal access code

For a group of 6+, this typically costs less per person per night than a single hotel room in downtown Chicago. One home, one price, everyone together.

Bachelorette weekends, wedding parties, birthdays, friend getaways, family gatherings, corporate retreats. This is the house your group chat has been looking for.

About the neighborhood

The Jackpot sits in North Park on Chicago's North Side. Most groups are surprised by how connected it is. You're 10 to 15 minutes from every popular Chicago neighborhood, 4 minutes from the expressway, and 9 minutes from the Blue Line. But the real surprise is how much is right here.

Within five blocks you'll find incredible Mexican food (Torteria San Lenchito for tortas, Machetes for giant quesadillas) and some of Chicago's best Filipino restaurants (Subo Filipino Kitchen, Namit Cafe). Albany Park next door is one of the most diverse food neighborhoods in Chicago with Korean, Persian, Thai, Turkish, and more packed into a few blocks.

Three breweries are all within ten minutes: Half Acre in Lincoln Square (beer garden and surprisingly good burritos), Old Irving Brewing (award winning craft beer, wood fired food, serious whiskey list), and Eris Brewery in a converted Masonic temple that fits big groups perfectly. Gene's Sausage Shop has a European style rooftop wine and beer garden in Lincoln Square that your group will not want to leave.

For brunch, Lula Cafe in Logan Square is a Chicago institution (farm to table, Michelin recognized, get there early on weekends). Cafe Selmarie in Lincoln Square is a neighborhood gem with a more relaxed vibe. Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club is right nearby if your group wants something quick and no fuss.

When your group wants to go out, every popular neighborhood is 10 to 15 minutes away. Logan Square for craft cocktails (Lost Lake for tiki drinks, Billy Sunday for creative cocktails) and late night spots. Wicker Park and Bucktown for boutiques by day and nightlife after dark. Wrigleyville for rooftops, game day energy, and bars like Sluggers (they have batting cages). River North and Lincoln Park if you want a more upscale night out.

Major attractions are all a quick drive: Wrigley Field (15 min), Millennium Park (17 min), United Center (17 min), Museum Campus (20 min), McCormick Place (24 min).

Groups that planned to go out every night end up staying in because the backyard is better than any bar.

Getting around

The Blue Line is a 9 minute walk and runs straight to downtown and O'Hare. I-90 is a 4 minute drive, which makes getting to the airport or anywhere in the city fast and simple. Downtown is about 16 minutes by car.

The property has a 2 car garage that fits two smaller vehicles or one large SUV. We also provide parking passes for the permitted streets right in front of the house so your group can park without any hassle.

Most groups find they don't need to leave much once they settle in, but when you want to go out, everything is close.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we have a party or celebration?

Absolutely. The Jackpot was designed for exactly this. Bachelorette weekends, birthdays, wedding parties, and group celebrations are what we do best. The game room has its own bar, the hot tub fits your crew, and the backyard is fully private and fenced. We just ask that you keep things at a reasonable volume (this is a residential neighborhood), respect quiet hours after 9 PM in the outdoor spaces, and keep your group to registered guests only. The city enforces occupancy limits and so do we. No outside visitors, no parties beyond your group. We have hosted 31 celebration weekends with a 5.0 rating. Not one group has ever complained about the house rules. 14 people with a hot tub, a cinema, a game room, and a stocked bar don't need anything else.

What makes The Jackpot different from a regular Airbnb?

I've spent the last 5 years in the hospitality world, and I built The Jackpot around one idea: groups deserve a space that was actually designed for them. This is a small family owned and operated business, and every detail reflects that. We hired an interior designer to create a specific vision for the home. We clean and stock everything ourself before every stay. We maintain the hot tub year round. We personally respond to every message within minutes to ensure our guests are taken care of. We care about the little things because the little things are what groups remember and talk about for years. That level of care is what a 5.0 rating across 31 reviews comes from Airbnb, Vrbo, and direct bookings.

How many people can stay?

The Jackpot sleeps 14 across five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Every bedroom has real beds (king, queen, full, and twin configurations) and the cinema room doubles as a crash ready lounge with two full size memory foam sleeper sofas. No air mattresses. No one sleeping on the floor. For context, fitting 14 people in downtown Chicago hotel rooms would require booking 5 to 7 separate rooms on separate floors. Here, everyone is under one roof.

What is included?

Everything. Here is what is yours for the weekend: - Full kitchen with high end appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, and dining for 14 - Coffee and tea bar: Nespresso, milk frother, artisanal teas, flavor pumps - 120 inch 4K cinema with surround sound and a popcorn machine - Game room with foosball, ping pong, poker, vinyl record player, and a fully stocked bar - Hot tub with LED lights, privacy curtains, and a louvered pergola (year round) - Fire pit and lounge chairs in a private fenced backyard - BBQ grill - Sun room with sectional seating - Smart TVs with streaming apps - Bluetooth speakers and high speed WiFi throughout - Washer and dryer - Fresh towels, linens, and toiletries for every guest - 2 car garage plus parking passes for the permitted street - Central AC and heat - Self check-in with a personal access code Pack your bags and your crew. We handle the rest.

Is the hot tub available year round?

Yes. The hot tub runs year round and the louvered pergola overhead means you can use it in rain or snow. The louvers close to keep weather out and open to let the sky in. Privacy curtains on all sides. String lights and LED lighting for the evening. It is the single most photographed and most mentioned feature in our reviews. Winter and late night summer hot tub sessions with the fire pit going are something special.

What are the house rules?

We keep it simple. Only registered guests are allowed on the property at any time, no exceptions. This is a city enforced occupancy rule and we take it seriously. No smoking or vaping indoors (the covered patio and backyard are fine). Quiet hours for outdoor spaces are 9 PM to 8 AM. We want your group to celebrate and enjoy every corner of this home, just in a way that respects the neighborhood. The groups that stay here are here for each other, not to throw open door parties, and that is exactly the energy we built this for.

How does check-in work?

Self check-in with a smart lock. You get a personalized access code 24 hours before arrival and a digital guidebook with everything you need to know about the house and the neighborhood. No key exchange, no waiting, no front desk. You walk up, punch in your code, and your weekend starts. Most groups are in the hot tub within the first hour.

What about parking?

We have a 2 car garage that fits two smaller vehicles or one large SUV. We also provide parking passes for the permitted streets directly in front of the house, so your group can park without any hassle or tickets. Street parking in the neighborhood is easy and free outside of the permit zone. Most groups bring 3 to 5 cars and have zero issues.

Can I book directly or do I have to go through Airbnb?

Yes, and direct booking comes with perks you won't get through Airbnb. When you book directly through our website or through Batch, your group arrives to a welcome package: a personalized welcome card, a curated Spotify playlist QR code for your weekend, and a few surprises we won't spoil here. We are also more flexible on check-in times and minimum stays when you book direct. If you have any questions before booking, message us and we will personally get back to you within minutes.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand plans change, especially when coordinating a large group. Cancel 30 days or more before check-in and you get a full refund. Cancel 14 to 29 days before check-in and you get a partial refund. Inside of 14 days, the booking is non-refundable. If something unexpected comes up, reach out and we will work with you. We are reasonable people running a small business and we treat our guests the same way.
