Your homestay is located in the historic and culturally diverse Lonestar Neighborhood of downtown San Antonio! Casa Pajaritos is strategically located on the border of the Lonestar & King Williams district just south of downtown San Antonio, close enough to engage in all the activities, but far enough to enjoy the peace & tranquility of an easy-going neighborhood. Lonestar is a safe, friendly, vibrant, and down-to-earth working class neighborhood where neighbors look out for each other. Although parts of the neighborhood like Saint Francis Avenue may seem a little run down or aged, we assure you that the area is very safe and worth getting to know.

Casa Pajaritos prides itself on working alongside a beautiful Latino community of the Lonestar district that forms the backbone of the greater San Antonio population. We employ local working-class families within the neighborhood (particularly our neighbors) to ensure that the property is well taken care of and that our valued guests have safe and trustworthy neighbors to look after them.

Yes, there are two parking spaces in the driveway for two full vehicles (and yes you can park on the gravel), or you can find free parking along the street.

Is it a safe neighborhood?

Yes, absolutely, the Lonestar neighborhood is a very safe and friendly predominantly Latino, working-class community where neighbors look out for each other. Don't let the first few houses on Saint Francis Avenue street make you think otherwise, they may be a little run down, but the neighborhood gets more charming the deeper you go in. As they, don't judge a book by its cover!
