Idle Hour feels like it slipped straight out of the 1930s — a little barrel-shaped hideaway that could’ve been a secret stop for pilots (with the Bulldog Cafe in the back!), writers, or studio types between adventures. Inside, it’s low light, polished wood, and cocktails that are taken seriously: cold, strong, and perfectly balanced. Our server Jessica was a delight — attentive, charming, and made the whole night feel effortless. There’s a quiet elegance here, a sense that anything could happen before the night’s over, with no Neville Sinclair’s in sight. Rating: 10 Lady Luck’s out of 5-

Mark was extremely helpful when another venue fell through for my birthday celebration. He very kindly reserved the back room (which happens to be shaped like a bulldog) for my friends and I. The signature cocktails were delicious (try the De La Tierra) and the food was great. Can't say enough good things about them, they went above and beyond without me even asking. Highly recommend

Chad<3 We had an event at idle hour and Chad was what made the event go so smoothly and perfect. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He was nothing short of perfect, thank you Chad and rest of staff for such an amazing night <3 :)

Adorable barrel shaped front building with sizable back patio. Fun lively crowd Saturdays and good happy hour options too. Lots of signature cocktails and decent amount of beers on tap. Sizable food menu also including sweet potato fries and desserts!

That portobello mushroom ‘fries’ are sooooo good! Get it! 3-6pm they have happy hour menu that carries $7 bites and $7 cocktail. The $7 pizza is decent. Make a Mule is 👍👍👍

The vibes are immaculate! Such a fun place to go for a night out. We were smitten with the quirky architecture, loved that the staff were casually wearing elf ears, and the food and drinks were wonderful. I look forward to the next time I can go.

We go all the time, especially for the bottomless mimosas and it's always lovely. There's a live cover band that does a bunch of hits. This last time Chad was our server and he was rad and comped us a thing or two so you better believe we tipped well.

We came here as a birthday after party and it was perfect! We hung out in the back patio, especially the big dog room and had our own little party. Drinks were good, staff were supportive and helpful in a nice, large space. Parking was not the best but I would definitely return next time I go out in Burbank area.

Very decent prices for LA. Cocktails are about $15 each and food is decent. Had the mushroom fries ($11?) and those were okay. Dry and not too flavorful but the garlic aioli helps. Wings were decent. You get 6 wings for $12. Atmosphere is nice and laid back
