About this Bar

  • In 2002, the Original Tin Roof opened near Nashville’s famed Music Row to give musicians a place to play and a place to hang when they weren’t on stage. The tasty food, fun, eclectic environment, community of Regulars, and friendly Crew quickly established the Roof as the place to be for musicians and non-musicians alike. Over the years, our stages have hosted the famous, the should have been famous, and everyone in between.

  • Live Music: From lunch to late night, we have live music every single day, all day, and we’re known for having the most talented musicians on Lower Broadway! We allow entry to all ages during the day for dining, then everyone must be 21+ at night to be on-site.

  • Our chefs rock as much as our musicians: We’re famous for our live music, but we also serve delicious, fresh ‘Better Than Bar Food’!  The best chicken tenders & wings in Nashville, double patty smash burgers, and more have made the Roof a popular lunch, happy hour & dinner spot for two decades!
