What Actually Happens in Class
The 90-minute women's self-defense class moves through real, applicable technique. You start with striking fundamentals, learn how your body's natural mechanics work better than strength, and drill escapes from the holds that actually happen: bear hugs, wrist grabs, hair grabs, choke holds. Then you put it to use on Jesse himself, who suits up and takes it. The session finishes with a Grape Crushing Contest and, for anyone who wants it, a live demonstration with no protective gear. Groups are capped at 20, everyone gets hands-on reps, and photos and slow-motion video are captured throughout so you leave with content that actually looks incredible. But if the self-defense class gets your crew fired up and you want to take it somewhere wilder, Jesse has one more character to introduce.
Neon Flex Deserves Everything He Gets
If you're wanting to really see what your bachelorette can do to a bad guy, take on Neon Flex, a pro wrestler who will teach you the moves and provide the ultimate photos and videos of you and your crew. Jesse arrives in a neon pink leotard and a luchador mask, ready to insult your fitness level and immediately regret it. The session teaches real holds, including the Boston Crab and Camel Clutch, choreographed so your whole group can pull them off. Each person gets a turn. The session builds to a full staged smackdown, Neon Flex goes down, and your group walks away with a story and a slow-motion highlight reel. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Jesse will be in full character regardless of what you wear.
Who This Is For
Ballbusters draws bachelorette parties and birthday crews who want a group activity that is physical, funny, and genuinely unlike anything else in Austin. No fitness background is needed, no wrestling experience required. The only thing you need is a willingness to learn a couple holds and commit to the bit. The shared villain in the pro wrestling class gives the group an automatic target, which means the energy builds on its own. Reviewers describe it as the most fun they have had at any bachelorette party activity, and the most unexpectedly physical. One put it plainly: "the dude is a party."
