I used Big Texas Boat Rentals for my birthday party. I rented the 25 foot double decker pontoon with the Lilly pad. Our captain was accommodating and friendly. I enjoyed being on Lake Travis. I would recommend using Big Tex Boat Rentals. They are professional and communicative.

We rented a boat for my sister's bachelorette on Lake Travis. Everyone I dealt with from this company was great! Captain Kramer had the boat and cooler ready and looking nice for us! He was very thoughtful and very thorough with all of the rules. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to safety, which I understand is why the rules are in place! We drove out to the "devil's cove" area and really just parked and floated, we didn't go any place else, but it was fun!

Jake was the most awesome captain for our trip out on Lake Travis! He was sweet, kind, fun, and went above and beyond to make our day the best. Big Tex is more than lucky to have him as a captain in their crew!

My family and I loved our boat day with Captain Jake! The lake was so beautiful. There was a really cool party spot but we ended up spending most of the time at a more secluded peaceful area. Would definitely go again!

Jake was a rock star! He was our tour guide, our bouncer, our bartender, and our amazing host! He was fun, inviting, kept us safe, and had the best chill vibes.

After much research with all of the boat companies for Lake Travis, we rented a boat a couple of weekends ago for a Bachelorette, and it was really fun! Our captain was very polite and helpful. We were a bit late for our time, but he still accomdated us and helped with all of our belongings. He even had his dog, sheila! We rented a pontoon with a slide, and it was perfect for eight girls. The boat came with a yeti cooler and Bluetooth speakers. The captain will stop at the marina store on the way to the Cove, and I would recommend using the bathroom here as there was none on the boat. Would recommend this company!

Bill and Phil were great from the start, Corbin helped with any questions prior to booking then the captains took over with the rest. Making sure we all had our wavers filled out prior and getting everything set prior to board to make the most out of our time. While on the water they were respectful whist reminding some of our guests of the rules, very accommodating to where we’d like to go, knew the lake well, and allowed us to have a really great time. Needless to say Bill & Phil crushed it on the 3 hour tour😏 Thanks again y'all for making a night worth remembering

My group had a great time with Big Tex Boat Rentals and Captain Corbin. Corbin did a great job for our trip. They respond within a day via email. We celebrated the Fourth of July and got to see the fireworks. Tip: I'd recommend booking a 4 hour trip if you can because ours was 3 hours and it felt too short. Nonetheless we had a fun and memorable time!

Our office desperately needed a day out to reconnect as a team. Big Tex made the entire process very easy. Everything can be done online or call a friendly office person. Corbin, our Captain, was very polite and took great care of us. We had a great day on the lake!!!

We did a four hour ride with Charlie and it was fantastic. He was super personable and took us on a stunning route. He also took great photos for our group and curated our stops based on our group’s vibe perfectly. The boat was clean and stocked with ice upon arrival, and Charlie was easy to link up with once we arrived for our ride. We would definitely love to go back on the water with Captain Charlie!

When you see the ads and the name, you might not think family friendly. Here's the deal, this place was great and more affordable than the competition. Start to finish the whole process was both easy and unassuming. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and did 4 hours which was the ideal amount of time. The captain for our boat, Thomas, was amazing. He was always asking how he could make the experience better, helping with stuff for our kids, and willing to answer all our questions about the area. The spot he picked for us was perfect on Lake Travis. I don't write reviews often so know I mean it when I say I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in a day on the lake!

Had the BEST time with Captain Colt!! He really showed us a great time, explained the rules thoroughly and even bandaged my foot after cutting it. He made sure we were next to groups we got along with and were there for a great time! He was the best! I recommend doing an 8 hour trip! It seems like a lot but trust me TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

There are a lot of options to chose from on Lake Travis, but Big Tex is definitely the best out there. We had a group of 17 guys and we fit comfortably on the mini barge. Huge cooler for ice, great sound system, shade on the lower level, and tons of sun up top. Captain was the man and worked with us to do exactly what we wanted. You need to set up transportation too and from the Marina, bring cold drinks, and towels. Other than that these guys take care of everything else. Awesome time.

These guys are top notch. We had to cancel a weekly scheduled lesson session due to rain. They went above and beyond and took us out on a non-scheduled lesson day to make sure we got our session in. In addition, Matthew was a superb instructor for 3 of our kids who had never wake surfed or boarded before. We had a great afternoon on the water and will definitely call these guys again. The boat was beautiful and had a sun shade which was more than necessary! Thank you Matthew and company for a great experience! We'll be back!

Had a great time on Lake Travis with Cole as our captain as we had a group of guys down in Austin for a bachelor party. Cole was a great host and greatly enhanced our experience as we docked up next to other boats with visitors coming and going off of our boat. Corbin was such a wonderful captain from start to finish. He txted a few days before with all the info and was easy to communicate with throughout. We had a great time on the water! The water slide was a huge plus and kept us so entertained. We were in the water on the lily pad most of the day, and the cooler was great to have since we had flown in and would have had no other way to keep things cold!

Great Boat with Captain Corbin!! Twelve of us took a day off golf to take a boat cruise on Captain Corbin's very nice Pontoon. It was a beautiful ride up the lake with BYOB. Views of lovely homes Austin Country Club etc. He was quite knowledgable and friendly. We all had a nice time on this relaxing & pleasant experience. Had lunch at Abels restaurant first and that was the perfect start.

Celebrated my birthday with them! We loved the slide and jumping off the boat. Of course who doesn't love the lily pad. Their music system was dope ! We could hear it across the lake. They were very considerate with the time as my crew were a little late! He gave us some extra time. The boat had ice in their cooler they provided (morning boat) but 330pm peeps may have to bring them own. Our captain as chill AF too (:
