Question 1

What equipment is provided?

We will provide you with a mask, snorkel, buoyancy compensator, and fins for snorkeling. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear if you wish.

Question 2

Do you provide instructions on how to snorkel?

Our experienced and CPR-certified Fury crew will give you detailed snorkel instructions as you sail out to the Living Coral Reef. They will go over the best practices and safe snorkel procedures.

Question 3

Do I need to know how to swim?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fury will provide you with snorkel instruction and equipment, but you must know how to swim to participate in any snorkel adventure. We take you about 7 miles offshore of Key West and once in the ocean, there will not be a place for you to touch or stand, while snorkeling.  All guests will receive flotation devices for their safety. Fury crew is present to assist in an emergency, but will not be able to solely attend to one party for the duration of the trip. For those unable to swim, we suggest booking a trip aboard our Glass Bottom Boat, where you can see the reef and marine life from the comfort of the boat. Guests are also always welcome to relax and enjoy the amenities aboard our spacious catamarans during the snorkel portion of any tour.

All participants must sign a liability waiver to participate in snorkeling and other adventures.

How long is each activity?

Guests will enjoy about 45 to 60 minutes of Snorkeling, 6 to 8 minutes of Parasailing, 15 to 20 minutes of Jet Skiing per couple, 15 minute Banana Boat ride and free time at Key West’s largest Ocean Waterpark.

Is there easy access in and out of the ocean?

Yes, we have a stairway to the sea, which makes it very easy for you to get on and off the catamaran. The Captain may also open a gate on the side of the catamaran for experienced guests to jump in.

Do you provide Parking?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check-in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots, or parking garages.

Question 7

If I have paid for my tickets, do I still need to check in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is necessary for Fury to give you a boarding pass. This helps us maintain an accurate count for the Coast Guard.

Question 8

What is your weather policy?

Accepted Answer

Fury Water Adventures does not operate in unsafe weather conditions, but a light rain shower is not a deterrent. The Captain will assess the weather and should the Captain determine that the conditions are unsafe to run the tour, the tour may be postponed or it will be canceled. If a trip is canceled by Fury Water Adventures for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund. Every effort will be made to run tours, as advertised. Should Fury have to amend or alter your tour due to extraneous circumstances, tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.

What is your cancellation policy?

FURY WATER ADVENTURES REQUIRES all cancellations be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive any refund. Any cancellations made same day with less than 24-hour notice for tickets purchased or held will be charged in full and are nonrefundable. TRIPS BOOKED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Private Charter cancellation policies vary. Please refer to your Private Charter contract for additional information regarding cancellations or changes to a Fury Signature Charter.

What is reservation & refund protection?

Accepted Answer

Fury has a 24-hour notice cancellation policy to receive a refund. Guests can purchase Reservation Refund Protection to be eligible to cancel for a refund, transfer tickets or reschedule within 24 hours of departure. Notice for changes must be provided a minimum of 1 hour prior to the originally scheduled departure. Reservation refund protection fees are 100% non-refundable in the event of any cancellation or reservation change.
