How do I choose my Captain?
Under U.S. Bareboat Charter Law, our charters operate as a private vessel rental, which means you are required to select a licensed captain for your trip. Don't worry — we make it easy! Simply browse our roster of experienced, USCG-licensed captains and choose the one that's the best fit for your group. Each captain brings their own personality, local knowledge, and expertise to make your experience truly one of a kind. Once you've picked your captain, they'll take care of everything — from navigating the best spots to keeping your crew safe and having a blast on the water. Your adventure, your captain, your way!
How much does the captain cost and how do I pay them?
Captain fees are paid directly to your captain of choice and are separate from your charter booking. Captains charge a flat rate of $50 per hour, so for our 4-hour charter that's $200 total. Payment is made directly to your captain via cash or Cash App — simple, easy, and hassle-free. We recommend reaching out to your chosen captain ahead of your trip to confirm availability and get everything squared away before your big day on the water!
