The tour guide was very informative and the stories behind all the sites gave us a great appreciation of Charleston's history!!!!

Had a great time on walking tour. John is an excellent story teller. Would recommend him and was great value for the money.

We booked a last minute tour, and this one was recommended by one of the travel/tourist persons inside a storefront on Meeting that had a bunch of brochures with things to do around Charleston. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and informative. The tour was more educational than scary which was good for me. Learned a lot about the history of Charleston and some of the characters that have lived there. Some tips: Wear bug spray! Something with DEET those mosquitoes are nasty, and the timing of the tour while good for ghost stories is also ideal for a mosquito buffet. Wear comfy walking shoes/sandals!

We had an awesome tour with Brie (Brianna?) tonight. She is super knowledgeable and her passion for local history really shines through. The thing I liked about her most was her empathy. It is easy to forgot sometimes that we are talking about real people on the tour that suffered.

Had a good tour guide and enjoyed the stories - some of them were pretty scary for me (but I'm a chicken when it comes to these things), and I loved that as the tour went on (we booked a 7pm), the night got darker and darker...so by the time we got to the graveyard, it was almost fully dark. Very good timing! Make sure to wear bug spray and have comfortable shoes on, the streets of Charleston are pretty old and so not made for heels or anything fancy.

Ben took my husband and myself on a unique tour of Charleston on 2/2/24. Ben was extremely knowledgeable regarding Charleston history. We felt special as we ended up being the only ones on this tour. When we were told we were it, I was afraid Ben was there to tell us the tour was canceled. (The other tour we booked, we were told if at least 4 people were not on the tour, it would be canceled.) I am not a history buff.I have always been disinterested in history, but Ben made Charleston's history come alive; therefore, I got into it. My husband states Ben made history exciting. He says we would book another tour tomorrow. (We would have to be in Charleston though.) Thanks for a tour where we brought your knowledge home with us.

Sara made the experience exciting by bringing passion, enthusiasm & a wealth of knowledge about the history & culture of Charleston to the experience, We were especially impressed with her background of the Gullah culture.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was one of the best we've had on tours like this. She had lots of interesting stories to tell and told them in an entertaining way.
