About this Experience

What you'll do:

You'll be picked up from your Airbnb, hotel, or any spot that works for your group, then driven through Asheville's wine country in a private 14-passenger vehicle while sipping your own drinks on the way to each stop.

  • Customize your route - Tell your driver which wineries, vineyards, or bars you want to hit, and the itinerary is built around your group's preferences.

  • Drink on board, legally - BYOB and crack open your own bottles the moment you step on the vehicle.

  • Taste your way through Asheville wine country - Visit three or more local vineyards with a driver who knows the region and can help you choose your stops.

  • Mix in other stops - Add a brewery, a restaurant, or a local bar anywhere along the route without changing the price.

  • Get snacks for the ride - Settle in with complimentary water and locally sourced pretzels while the music plays through the Bluetooth system.

The ride itself is half the experience. Your driver keeps the energy up, the coolers are stocked with ice, and Polaroids are on board to capture the day as it happens.

Why we love it for your group:

  • BYOB and legal on-board drinking - You can pour and enjoy from the moment the vehicle rolls, no waiting until you arrive.

  • Custom pickup and drop-off - No need to arrange a rideshare or meeting point; the vehicle comes to wherever you're staying.

  • 14-passenger capacity - Fits bachelorette parties, birthday groups, and corporate outings without splitting the group.

  • Local driver who knows the stops - Skip the guesswork; your driver can recommend Asheville wineries based on what your group actually likes.

  • Flexible by the hour - No per-person pricing, no mileage fees; you book a block of time and use it however you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the transportation?

Your booking includes comfortable, climate-controlled transportation, a friendly and personable driver, unlimited miles, and helpful extras including local snacks from AVL Pretzel Co., bottled water and ice, branded koozies, and a Polaroid camera with film. The team can also assist with itinerary planning. Your group purchases its own drinks at each stop, and BYOB is welcome on board.

How does the booking process work?

Choose your preferred vehicle, date, pickup time, and booking length through the website. A 25% deposit secures your reservation. Once booked, the team can help plan your route or recommend wineries and other stops. The team will also reach out during the week of your booking to finalize the details.

How much does it cost?

The rate is $150 per hour, per vehicle, based on the time from pickup to drop-off. Meeting at Greenman Brewery in downtown Asheville and pickup or drop-off within 3 miles of downtown are complimentary. Custom pickup and drop-off locations more than 3 miles and up to 10 miles are $49, with additional fees possible for locations farther away.

Which wineries can we visit?

You can visit any wineries you'd like, as there is no set route. The team can recommend stops based on your group's preferences, follow an itinerary you've created, or help build a combination of both. Your itinerary can also be adjusted during the day as plans change.

How long should we book the vehicle?

The minimum booking is 4 hours, with no maximum. A good rule of thumb is to plan for one fewer stop than the number of hours booked. For example, a 5-hour booking allows for approximately 4 stops. For a typical 3-winery outing, 6 hours is generally recommended since wineries are often located outside Asheville. Be sure to account for drive time and how long you want to spend at each stop.

Can we extend our booking if we want more time?

Yes, when the schedule allows. Additional time is charged at the standard $150 per hour rate and prorated based on your actual usage. Extensions are subject to availability, so it's best to book enough time for your planned itinerary.
