About this Experience

What you'll do:

Your group gets picked up in a fully wrapped, 14-passenger party bus and taken on a private brewery-hopping tour through Asheville's best craft beer spots, with your own local guide calling the shots and your playlist setting the mood.

  • Hop between Asheville breweries - your guide routes the tour based on your group's taste, pace, and vibe, adjusting on the fly if you want to linger or explore somewhere new.

  • Drink on board legally - the bus is BYOB-friendly, coolers and ice are stocked, and you can crack open whatever you brought between stops.

  • Customize your full itinerary - choose your own breweries or let the Damn Good team plan the route, mixing daytime taprooms with evening spots or dinner if you want.

  • Celebrate with personal touches - a custom message board greets your group, branded koozies go home with everyone, and a Polaroid camera captures the moments between stops.

  • Ride in comfort all day - the climate-controlled buses keep everyone comfortable in any weather, and the LED lights and Bluetooth sound system make even the rides part of the party.

Whether you're running a bachelorette weekend, a birthday crawl, or just a crew ready to explore Asheville's craft beer scene properly, this is the easiest and most fun way to do it.

Why we love it for your party:

  • Private party bus - your group gets the full vehicle, no strangers, no shared schedule.

  • BYOB and on-board drinking - legally drink between stops so the party never has a pause.

  • Flexible booking - book by the hour with no strict maximum, and change the plan mid-tour if something catches your eye.

  • Local guide included - someone who actually knows Asheville's brewery scene is with you the whole time.

  • Polaroids and custom message board - touches that make a group trip feel like an event, not just a ride.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the transportation?

Your booking includes comfortable, climate-controlled transportation, a friendly driver, unlimited miles, and thoughtful extras, including local snacks from AVL Pretzel Co., bottled water and ice, branded koozies, and a Polaroid camera with film. The team can also assist with itinerary planning. Your group purchases its own drinks at each stop, and BYOB is welcome on the bus.

How does the booking process work?

Choose your preferred vehicle, date, pickup time, and booking length when making your reservation. A 25% deposit secures your booking. Afterward, the team can help plan your route or recommend stops and will reach out during the week of your booking to finalize the details.

How much does it cost?

The rate is $150 per hour, per vehicle, based on the time from pickup to drop-off. Meeting at Greenman Brewery in downtown Asheville and pickup or drop-off within 3 miles of downtown are complimentary. Custom pickup and drop-off locations more than 3 miles and up to 10 miles are $49, with additional fees possible for locations farther away.

Which breweries or other stops can we visit?

You can visit breweries, bars, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, concerts, and more. The team is happy to suggest stops based on your group's preferences, follow your itinerary, or create a combination of both. Your route can also be adjusted during the day as plans change.

Can we drink on the bus?

Yes! BYOB is welcome, and you can use the onboard cooler for your drinks. You can also purchase additional beverages at stops along the way. Your group is responsible for purchasing its own drinks.

Can you pick us up from our Airbnb?

Yes! Airbnb and vacation rental pickups are common. Pickup and drop-off are complimentary within 3 miles of downtown Asheville. Custom locations more than 3 miles away and up to 10 miles away are $49, with additional fees possible for locations farther away.

Can we play our own music?

Absolutely! The vehicles are equipped with Bluetooth, so your group can connect and control the music during the ride.

How many people can you accommodate?

There are two 14-passenger vehicles, allowing for groups of up to 28 guests. Additional transportation may be available for larger groups, so contact the team about XXL groups.

How long should we book for?

Five or more hours is generally recommended unless you have a tight schedule. A helpful rule of thumb is to plan for one fewer stop than the number of hours booked. For example, a 5-hour booking allows for approximately 4 stops while leaving time for travel between locations.

Can we extend our time beyond our original booking?

Possibly. Extensions are available when the schedule allows and are charged at the standard $150 per hour rate, prorated to your additional usage. Extensions are not guaranteed, so it's best to book enough time for your planned itinerary.
