We were fortunate enough to book a private downtown la tour for 6 with delicious dish tours and it did not disappoint!!! Penelope was our guide and she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. There was such a wide variety of foods that we enjoyed ranging from tacos on Olivera st to mochi in little Tokyo. They were so efficient with the walking and transportation from Chinatown to little Tokyo and it was really fun getting to take the metro there. There was a lot of history that Penelope shared with us about downtown and Los Angeles and as a Los Angeles native, I was quite embarrassed that I didn’t know a lot of it. You will definitely enjoy the tour and I cannot recommend it enough. The best part of the entire experience was that I never felt like I was at home in la. Oftentimes when I’m here with my family my thoughts drift to things I need to be doing at home or work but on the tour we all felt like we had 4 hours in a completely different place almost like we were on vacation. Thank you again delicious dish tours and we can’t wait to do it again!!

There was only 2 of us so we had Katie’s full attention and she was fantastic. She knows the history and the background around the area which we’re unfamiliar with so we learned a tremendous amount. The food selection was very good and the walking and stopping was just the right amount. Would recommend the tour and Katie to anyone.

Fantastic Food Tour for all… locals and tourists - highly recommend! Such a great walking tour of downtown LA. We are local, and we were looking for a fun day outing. We had 3 teens in our group, and they raved about the food tour. They got to see new places in Downtown Los Angeles and learn new things. They loved all the samplings of food they got to try - and riding the metro. It was a nice amount of food, but we weren’t overly stuffed. We definitely plan to return to a few of the places we visited. The girls loved our guide Denisse. She knew so many fun facts about the history of the city. Highly recommend for a fun local outing or day adventure. You don’t need to be a tourist to enjoy this tour.

Such a great experience! Such a fun and interesting way to explore some of LA’s most fascinating neighborhoods. We got to walk all over, tasting delicious foods and learning lots of history along the way. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and encouraged us to try all kinds of new fruits and foods along the way. Highly recommend this experience to get beyond the tourist traps and see more of LA!

Great Way to see Venice, CA Cassie was super friendly and knew all the best spots around Venice Beach. We hit some cool places on the beach and some hidden gems off it. I usually stick to vegetarian, but those meat empanadas were seriously good! The Japanese sweet potato at the end was amazing. Definitely worth it if you want to try stuff you wouldn’t find on your own. Learned a lot about the town and got to eat yummy food!

Like Being Show Around by an Old Friend! Our tour guide, Penelope, was so wonderful! She brought such a warm and comfortable energy to our tour that really made it feel like being shown around by a good friend! And this is to say nothing of her deep knowledge of the history of LA and California which really helped to bring a rich cultural context to all the food stops! Speaking of the food stops, the selection was great! Some good sit down spots and some good food to be eaten while we walked to different locations! A few spots were places we had been as LA locals but there were also some real gems (especially the bahn mi spot!) that I don’t think I ever would have found on my own! Such a lovely lovely experience!!! For those worried about the walk: while you do walk a fair amount, you take such consistent breaks that you rarely feel it!! Truly can’t recommend this experience enough!
