Can I rent the jet ski alone without a tour guide?

Accepted Answer

No. Due to the protected sanctuaries and shallow areas the guided tour is the only option in Key West.

Can 3 people fit on a ski?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as the weight does surpass 460 lbs. (If you are going to ride with three passengers, we recommend that it is only 1 adult and 2 small children or 2 Adults and 1 small child.)

Question 3

What will I see on the jet ski tour?

Accepted Answer

While every tour is different based on marine and weather conditions, our guides will make 3-5 stops at different points of interest and share facts about certain areas. There is a possibility of spotting our local sea life like bottlenose dolphins or sea turtles but it is not guaranteed.

How fast can I go on the jet ski?

They can reach speeds of approximately 45 miles per hour.

We charge per jet ski.

Can we switch off driving during the tour?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we make multiple stops during the tour, in which you can change drivers.

Do I need a valid drivers license to jet ski?

Accepted Answer

All adults are required to present their Driver’s License but we also accept other forms of government-issued photo identification that show your age. Photocopies will not be accepted.

Where do jet ski tours depart from?

We have a few different departure Locations for our Jet Ski Tours:

Departure Location #1 241 Front Street – Located just behind Opal Key t on the corner of Front St. and Greene St. in the Opal Key Marina. Check-in booths are located on the pier.

Departure Location #2 0 Duval Street – Located between Ocean Key Resort & Pier House Resort, at the end of Duval Street.

Departure Location #7 601 Front Street – Located at the Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa, enter through the Hyatt Hotel parking lot, follow the outdoor path past the pool and towards the oceanfront.

What is your cancellation policy?

FURY WATER ADVENTURES REQUIRES all cancellations be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive any refund. Any cancellations made same day with less than 24-hour notice for tickets purchased or held will be charged in full and are nonrefundable. TRIPS BOOKED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Private Charter cancellation policies vary. Please refer to your Private Charter contract for additional information regarding cancellations or changes to a Fury Signature Charter.

What is reservation & refund protection?

Accepted Answer

Fury has a 24-hour notice cancellation policy to receive a refund. Guests can purchase Reservation Refund Protection to be eligible to cancel for a refund, transfer tickets or reschedule within 24 hours of departure. Notice for changes must be provided a minimum of 1 hour prior to the originally scheduled departure. Reservation refund protection fees are 100% non-refundable in the event of any cancellation or reservation change. Is gratuity included in the price?

No, gratuity is not included in the trip price and is customary.

Question 12

Do you provide parking?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check-in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots or parking garages.

Question 13

What is your weather policy?

Accepted Answer

Fury tours will not depart in unsafe weather conditions. The Captain will assess the weather. Should the Captain determine that the conditions are unsafe to run the tour, the tour may be postponed or canceled. Every effort will be made to reschedule your tour during your stay. If you are unable to reschedule your tour, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip. Every effort will be made to run tours as advertised. Should Fury have to amend or alter your tour due to extraneous circumstances, tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.
