The best boat tour with the most amazing captain! I booked a boat tour a few days ago with Captain Steve to celebrate my younger sibling’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. From the start, Captain Steve made us feel incredibly safe and secure. He was highly professional with safety rules and genuinely kind throughout the entire trip. He showed us the breathtaking views of Newport Beach and even paid attention to the little details, like taking us to see the napping sea lions, which we absolutely loved. The 3 hours flew by way too fast! We are already planning to book another, much longer trip with Captain Steve next time. I have the utmost respect for him🫡👍🏻❤️‍🔥 Highly recommend this tour to everyone!

This was an awesome adventure. The crew was friendly and helpful. We went on a Monday so to avoid weekend crowds and also discounted rates. I purchased the pirates scavenger hunt for the littles and that kept them entertained. Great family outting.

I was surprised by my boyfriend with this experience. The boat was easy to navigate, clean, spacious, well-kept and Kyle made it great with his exceptional customer service (very diligent, attentive and professional) and my boyfriend knocked it out of the park with this activity on our anniversary at sunset. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it!

It was a completely new experience; I'd never been there before. It's not expensive, around $60.00 for two hours. If you want to come with your family, you can bring your own food and drinks and take a boat ride all around Newport Beach Bay! The sunset is especially beautiful! If you'd like to bring your girlfriend (or boyfriend), it's very romantic; they'll definitely never forget it!

We had the best time celebrating our coworker’s bridal shower with OC Boats! The pink Duffy was such a fun and unique way to celebrate, but what really made the experience unforgettable was Captain Steve. He took us all around, pointed out beautiful homes, and shared so much interesting history along the way. It felt like a tour and celebration all in one. Chef Desi did an amazing job with the flowers. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

The boat we had was so cute, very clean, no issues. The staff was so nice and explained everything in detail about the boat and the map of the areas. Had a really great time. We will use this company again next time we are looking to relax on a boat!

Love the 3 hour tour guide with captain Robert, it was such a nice experience and very informative. Got to learn about the homes and pervious home owner and other history facts. He was very informative and friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Our family had a really great experience this weekend. Our Captain, Robert shared a lot of historic stories of the Bay, saw some seals, and even got to touch baby jellyfish. Totalling recommended this tour group!

Best boat rental experience and fun day on the water with Captain Steve! We rented the double decker pontoon for a group of 11 and had a wonderful time. Captain Steve was fantastic, from the booking to the ride. Highly recommend! Great boat with lots of space and a bathroom on board.

Had visitors from England and wanted treat them to a sunset cruise in the harbor. Cassandra was great explaining everything when making the reservation and Kyle was awesome once we got to the boat. Very friendly and helpful. The boat was a great shape. Full wrap around windows, which is a must for the evenings. Everyone was comfortable. Thanks!

We rented a Duffy Boat from OC. Cassandra was great to work with. The boat was clean and so comfortable. The enclosure and heater were awesome with the cooler weather. We loved the onboard bluetooth speaker. Ryan was knowledgable and helpful; he explained the boat and where to cruise around. We stopped to get some treats to enjoy on the boat. Such a fun day!

A perfect way to spend a birthday is cruising Newport Harbor with your family and friends. Totally enjoyed the two hours on the bay. Todd, our concierge, was professional, polite, and very informative. We will definitely be doing this again.

Rented one of their electric Duffy boats for my birthday celebration and the booking process was so easy. When I called to see their availability for a certain date, they even offered to honor the groupon price so that I didn't have to go through a third party. The boat was easy to navigate and despite the water being a little bit more choppy due to some rare OC rain, my party still had a great time. While the listed max capacity for the Duffy boat is 12 people, it was pretty tight with our 10 people after we accounted for our small cooler and a few bags of drinks/food. I imagine that if you had 12 people it'd still be fine, but you couldn't move around the boat freely without being pretty intentional. However, what I was most impressed with was their customer service. The boat was ready right on time and Todd was exactly where he told me to meet him on the dock. He was also very responsive to texts. We also had an issue with the city parking lot that they recommended to park in, and Cassandra handled it with such grace and a quick turnaround. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent boats in Newport!

We had the best time and experience with OC Boat Rentals! We booked two hours in the pink electric boat and added a captain so we could focus on the fun. Bryce was our captain and he was great! Received a text confirmation the morning of and Bryce was very communicative, professional and overall the entire experience was perfect. Would 100% book with OC Boat rentals again!

I have rented from three or four different Duffy companies. The location for OC Boat Rentals is convenient and the shared valet parking is not a problem. It was easy to make a reservation and to find discount opportunities. The boat was in perfect condition. Chandler got us in and out very smoothly. Lots of good communication on the website and by text for everything needed for a fun outing.

We rented a double-decker pontoon with OC Boat Rentals for my bachelorette celebration, and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever! Steve was our captain and he was fantastic – so welcoming, fun, and professional. He explained everything about the boat, made us feel safe and comfortable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. We anchored out, jumped and slid into the ocean, swam around, and even used the paddle board he had ready for us. It was truly one of the most fun and memorable days on the water – definitely a core memory! We were also lucky enough to have gorgeous décor and the most delicious food from Chef Desi with Brunch House OC. She is incredible to work with and created a completely customized experience for our group. I highly recommend her for any special occasion. Overall, OC Boat Rentals is exactly the type of local business I want to support. Their service, hospitality, and attention to detail made our day unforgettable. I can’t recommend them enough

This was our first time renting a boat from OC Boat Rentals, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The customer service was truly amazing from start to finish. I spoke with Cassandra over the phone, and she was incredibly patient, kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions. She was an absolute delight to speak with and made the booking process so easy. When we arrived, Todd and Kyle warmly greeted my family and made us feel so welcome. They gave a thorough and easy-to-understand explanation of how to operate the boat. Both were professional, friendly, and fantastic to work with. We spent two peaceful hours cruising through Newport Harbor on a beautiful electric boat. Fantastic fun day. Andy met us at the dock, gave us a tour of the boat, controls and a few suggested routes around the water ways. We brought a picnic and had a wonderful time eating and bobbing around on the water. We will for sure bring our family the next time the are over, it was a fantastic day, will definitely be back for another go and the OC team were fantastic. The boat was super clean and easy to control, we appreciated the shaded roof. Wonderful day

Kyle was great. Had the boat ready right when we got there. Easy to follow instructions. When we pulled back in he was right there waiting for us. Just easy breezy all the way. Scenery is beautiful in Newport Beach. Will definitely rent again. Highly recommended. Kyle made the experience seamless!
