Frequently Asked Questions
Is stained glass hard to make?
Our classes are designed for all levels! You'll find that the process is fun and rewarding, and that even beginners can make a gorgeous piece. Whether you've never touched glass before or have years of experience, we’ll guide you through every step in our supportive, creative environment.
What will I make during the class?
We will work with you to come up with a design (or a few options) that your group will love! Most 3 hour classes reasonably allow you to create a unique sun catcher that includes about 5-6 pieces. The type of project you hope to do will determine the price and class duration, so we'll make sure you have the most fun and take home something beautiful within your budget.
What will I learn?
Your group will learn to cut and shape glass pieces using specialized tools, then apply copper foil to the edges of each piece in preparation for soldering. Once foiled, the pieces will be assembled and carefully soldered together to create a unified design. Finally, your project will be cleaned, finished, and polished, ready to take home or display.
How can I make my party even better?
We offer a variety of add-ons in our studio space! We can accommodate helping with decorations, adding snacks and drinks to your class package, or calling in our talented friends for a tarot reading or drag performance. Whatever your vision for a killer party, we will do our best to make it happen!
How many people can you accommodate?
To make the most of this small group instruction experience, we recommend a maximum group of 10.
