Idyll Hound Proper is a gem! David’s service was absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The French toast casserole was unreal, a perfect blend of flavors that left us speechless. Every bite was pure bliss. Can’t wait to return for more! Highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful and delicious location and food! Such a unique atmosphere and great menu options. Service was friendly and efficient. We sat outside and I enjoyed the So Fresh, So Clean - roasted vegetables and hummus plate, it was so beautiful and tasty! My husband had the Proper Burger and fries along with a few draft beers that he enjoyed all very much.

Been here twice for girls night and each experience was great. The service is always friendly, drinks are delicious , and it’s our favorite place to get a sweet treat!

The Redfish and Parmesan grits are phenomenal, by far the best meal I had on our trip. The salty and nutty Parmesan pairs perfectly with the tomatoes, spinach, and redfish. Worth every penny of $36, and I would buy again anytime. Great service, fun upscale sports bar atmosphere, and fantastic food. Our table also ordered the Whipped Feta and Giant Pretzle as apps, and they were very tasty! The whipped feta has a perfect hint of lime and spice that complements the pita and veggies. It’s also delicious as a dip for fries! Vegetarian friendly, and plenty of great seafood options!

We came to Idyll Hound Proper for Sunday Bingo. The food was 5 stars. Our server Katie was exceptionally attentive. It was a Very family friendly, kid friendly atmosphere. Loved the decor, the aesthetic with pop art. Now let’s get to the food. Here is what we tried: 1. Redfish & Grits - 5 STARS. I am obsessed with the spices. The sauce. So flavorful. My favorite entree 2. The Caramel Praline Cheesecake 5 STARS. I did not want to share this with my family. We were fighting over this one 😆 3. Braised Short Ribs with grits - 5 stars. This was exceptionally delicious. Beautiful plated. Delicious. Huge portion 4. Beer Battered Fish & Chips 4 stars. The dill tartar sauce was DIVINE. Perfectly cooked. You get 3 egg roll sized pieces of fish. 5. Mediterranean Whipped Feta & Naan. 3.5 stars. Good healthy option with lots of veggies. I wish we got the Crab Artichoke dip instead 6. The Brownie Dessert - 4.8 STARS. My family devoured this in minutes. Warm brownie + Ice cream. Huge juicy strawberry carved into a rose. 7. Hot Chicken Sandwich - 3.5 stars. Love the pickles. Add the slaw onto the sandwich. Ask for more sauce on the side. I personally like a sandwich with more sauce. We were very impressed. I’d definitely order the RedFish & Grits and Short ribs again!

I absolutely love happy hour here! The vibe is great, and the Korean barbecue pork bites are incredible, perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-try. This spot never disappoints!

Amazing spot! I sat at the bar and Alisha, the bartender, was super friendly and helpful. I wanted a dry cocktail, and she guided me to the Green Hydration - absolutely perfect. The Poke Bowl was fresh, beautifully presented, and a really big portion. Great food, excellent service, and I’ll definitely be coming back! I love supporting local businesses like this—definitely worth a visit.

From the moment you walk in, everything about this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food is outstanding! It's fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is fun and inviting making it the perfect place for a casual night out or the perfect spot to watch the game. The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who truly make you feel welcome. And the drinks? Perfection—creative, well-crafted, and delicious. Every detail is done right. I can’t recommend this place enough and would highly encourage everyone to go experience it for themselves!

Absolutely love Idyll Hound Proper. We’ve only ever ordered small plates and they never disappoint! The bao buns, pork bites, and poke wontons are all so good. Larry has been our bartender twice now and he is fantastic. He introduced us to a tequila Old Fashioned (which honestly didn’t sound right at first 🤪) but it was AMAZING. He also had us try one of their newer “sensory” cocktails with basil oil and fresh basil that you leave in the drink for the aroma. Such a cool experience and it tasted just as good as it smelled. Great food, creative drinks, and even better service. We’ll definitely be back! 🍸✨

Lots of vibes, lots of fun- try their espresso martini or margarita tower.

Brunch was great, bottomless mimosas were better. We biked there from Rosemary and used the underpass which is also pretty cool. Definitely a greta place to stop on a girls trip- will be back for dinner!

OMG, you have to see this place!!! Wall-to-wall art with pop icons and really cool twists on some classics combined with a classy feel make this place super chill. Food & drink is incredible!!!

We loved the patio and green space out front- great place to have a drink and a bite while riding bicycles with friends. Try the Lilac Lavender cocktail!

Cool place to try while in town, they were doing trivia that night and the place was packed! Awesome burger and a great beer as well!
