What a wonderful week we had with Chef! The experience was amazing as well. Various different cuisines were available to us as well as good ol’ home cooking. Without a doubt, Chef will be seeing us again!!!

The entire experience start to finish was incredible. Chef John worked collaboratively with us to create a wonderful menu with fresh produce and freshly caught fish from the market. He was the right balance of flexible and professional. Now the food itself… 10/10. Every dish was expertly prepared and tasty. John really brought a luxury dining experience into the Airbnb. It was the perfect end to a long day of travel for the bachelorette party. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend John DiLeo if you are looking for a private chef in the Charleston, SC area. We had John prepare a 4 course meal for a party of 7 on our trip to Folly Beach, SC. The food was excellent! From initial contact with John, to crafting a menu, to the cleaning of the kitchen when he was done, the service was top notch. Thank you for making this one of the highlights of our trip, John!

The highlight of my vacation was this meal. I have eaten expensive meals that were good. This one not only surpassed them but left such a wonderful impression that I would not hesitate to do this again. In my humble opinion, the only mistake you can make is not doing this experience when you have the financial means to do so. Save up & be treated like royalty. You only get so many sunrises, seize the day with Chef John DiLeo for an unforgettable meal.

We hired chef John for a bachelorette party at our airbnb. Our family style courses were amazing. You can tell he’s very focused on his work and takes pride in his dishes. Everything was delicious and we had a good time. The shrimp with the ancho-chile popcorn was a favorite. Definitely recommend.

It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to try something different and private for her. I found Chef John and hired him for a private dining experience at our home. It was our first time hiring a private chef and it turned out to be a worthwhile experience. We had great conversation with Chef John and it was fun watching him cook. All the meals were very delicious and Chef John's service was top notch. I'll definetely hire him again.

We hired John for a wedding week chef dinner and he was absolutely fantastic! Our group has a lot of dietary restrictions/allergies and he accommodated everyone without hesitation. Our meal was fantastic, service was great, and all our guests raved about the dinner! We will definitely be hiring Chef John again for future events!

Chef John has cooked for our family several times now and he is always prompt, prepared, focused, and wows us with the menus and dishes that he creates. He even went above and beyond when I hired him to surprise my husband with recreating a multi-course a meal with wine pairings that we had for our anniversary. He contacted the restaurant that we had it at and spoke with the chef in detail about everything! And he blew us away with what he prepared. Don’t hesitate, trust chef John with your next private chef experience!

I have always thought about booking a private chef for vacations but never actually did it until this trip. The experience from the day I booked up until the night of our dinner was very professional and informative. Chef John made cooking look fun and easy while our guests and us relaxed and talked. His presentation was amazing and each course was the perfect amount and delicious. His attention to detail was top notch. And, not having kitchen clean up after dinner made the evening pleasant and very enjoyable with our friends. We will definitely do this again.

booked this experience as a surprise for my mom and sister. We were in Charleston for our 30th and 60th birthday celebrations. After a long day of travel, we had Chef John come and cook for us. The food was so fresh, delicious, and gorgeous. We couldn't stop raving about it while being served. He was lovely to talk to throughout the dinner and even left the kitchen spotlessly clean afterwards. I would recommend him to everyone I know! So thankful for such a perfect memory.

Chef John was wonderful and able to accommodate my dad's food allergy without compromising taste, which is difficult to find! All the food was delicious and he explained the ingredients and let my nephew watch him bruleé the dessert. Get the crab cakes. You won't be sorry :)

This was such a treat for our family! We were visiting Charleston—five adults and a baby—and dinner in without having to cook was perfect. Chef John easily accommodated the pescatarian guest. We were able to enjoy each other over a delicious meal. Scallops, arugula salad, salmon, short ribs over potatoes and green beans, molten chocolate cake!

Chef John prepared a wonderful 5 course meal for my husband and I! He followed some very specific instructions that I gave him, and even went above and beyond to speak to the chef at the restaurant we were trying to mimic. He also created some of his own inspired courses that were outstanding as well. Highly recommend this very experienced and professional chef!
