About this Experience

When & Where:

Date: July 26th & August 23rd

Time: 6:30am-8:30am

Location: Cherry Creek Reservoir (Marina)

What you'll do:

You'll start your morning on Cherry Creek Reservoir as the sun climbs over the Rockies, paddleboard under you, coffee in hand, with a floating sound bath waiting at the end.

  • Coffee and pastries on arrival: You'll grab a hot drink and fresh pastry from the coffee bar before heading down to the water.

  • Open sunrise paddle: As the sky brightens, you and your group cruise the reservoir at your own pace, taking in the mountain views and the quiet that only early mornings on the lake can offer.

  • Floating sound bath: Once you've settled onto your boards, a certified practitioner guides a 30-minute sound bath using resonant bowls, their tones carrying across the water in a way no studio session can replicate.

  • Paddleboard and equipment included: Each rental includes a paddleboard or kayak, paddle, life jacket, and anchor so you stay in place during the sound bath without drifting.

    • Flexible wind-down time: After the session, you can keep paddling, float quietly, or pull up a spot on the shore before the rest of Denver wakes up.

This is a two-hour window to actually slow down, not just talk about it. The combination of physical movement, open water, and guided sound meditation makes the morning feel productive and genuinely restful at the same time.

Why you'll love it:

  1. Built for beginners: A quick orientation at the start means no paddleboard experience is required, and the calm reservoir makes it easy to feel comfortable fast.

  2. Perfect bachelorette morning activity: It's relaxed enough to follow a late night out, beautiful enough to fill everyone's camera roll, and different enough that nobody's done it before.

  3. Great Denver group activity: With dates in July and August at Cherry Creek Reservoir, it's an easy add for visiting groups who want something local and outdoors.

  4. Photo-worthy from the first paddle: Sunrise light on the water and the Front Range in the background means you won't need a filter.

  5. Wellness without the studio: The floating sound bath covers the relaxation angle while the paddle handles the movement, so the two hours feel balanced rather than one-note.
