Amazing studio and the people who run it are lovely 💜

Andrew and Melissa showcased the moat important aspect of Rope in easily thw most digestive and engaging way. The environment was welcoming and the discussion open. For people curious about the fundamental building blocks of intentionality and communication while expressing that through Rope - this class is a Must.

DMS Blindfolded Experience Loved the anticipation. Once in position, I heard rope being placed on the floor. The waiting and the wondering what was coming was palpable. Delish. The touch outside of the rope felt so nice. They pinched the heel of my wrapped foot which felt amazing!! Removing rope at the very end, they pressed theirthumb in hard so that when rope came off completely, it was replaced by rigger. There was not a drop. Nicely done. Loved that. I also noticed in the beginning, they pushed the crook of my elbow to bend my arm. Loved that non-verbal communication and also the “being told what to do” aspect of it. 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend!

The studio was gorgeous and perfectly clean. Nora was supportive, helpful, kind, and patient. We had a fantastic experience in a private session, and we will return for a group class soon!

The studio is exquisite. Clean and gorgeously designed. The space is so comfortable for so many setups. Melissa was a wonderful host, she offered us fresh water and tea before our session. She was incredibly thoughtful in talking to us to find out what would best serve us for our learning styles and desires. Her instructions were very clear, I was able to very quickly understand everything she was showing us and practice it. Very happy for our experience and will certainly be back.

Melissa is a fabulous teacher. She's kind, patient, and encouraging. She's extremely focused and can see when my technique is off, why, and how to fix it. She makes tying, which isn't intuitive for me, both understandable and achievable. Devil Mask Studio's space is beautiful -- like a high-end dance studio (which is fitting because Shibari is a dance between Rigger and Bunny. I cannot recommend Melissa (and Nora and Andrew) more highly. Devil Mask Studio sets the bar for excellence.

My partner and I are completely new to rope, but Nora was amazing in our private session, teaching us the basics and the importance of safety. They really made sure to touch on all the topics that we were interested in and answered all of our questions patiently (we had a lot of them)! Definitely recommend this studio for all your rope needs (and more), & will absolutely come back another time for more classes and fun times!
