While we adore our furry friends, we prioritize their safety, and the preservation of our luxurious boat. Therefore, we kindly request that pets remain ashore for this adventure.

When can I set sail on a Hot Tub Cruisin boat?

We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to set sail 365 days a year, from the early morning at 9am until the starlit hours of 11pm. Your hot tub cruise is ready when you are!

Who is eligible to command the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?

The helm is open to anyone aged 18 or above, holding a valid drivers license. No specific boater's license is required in the state of California. Check out our captained cruises for an even more luxurious experience.

Where am I allowed to drive the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?

During your cruise, you have the freedom to navigate anywhere in the picturesque Mission Bay without crossing under the Ingraham Street Bridges. Drive to the middle of Sail Bat and enjoy the tranquility of being in the water, on the water. Please note, for the safety of all, the boat should never be "beached" or taken within 100 yards of the shore.

Am I permitted to bring food and beverages on the boat?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring along your favorite snacks and beverages (including alcohol, please NO GLASS, consumed responsibly). Please refer to our rules and regulations for safety concerns related to using a hot tub in combination with alcohol consumption. Our boat features a large cooler on board and a small cooler in the the hot tub for your own convenience (please bring your own ice). For safety, we kindly ask that no glass of any kind is brought on board.

Can I bring alcohol on the Hot Tub Cruisin boat?

Yes, as stated in the previous FAQ, you are legally allowed to bring alcohol on the boat. We ask that no glass brought on board and that you exercise moderation and good judgment, keeping in mind that there should be a designated driver of the boat who will abstain from drinking.

Is the Hot Tub Cruisin boat safe?

Absolutely! Our boat is equipped with all the required safety gear, including 12 US Coast Guard approved life jackets, fire extinguisher, and a safety sheet that includes the Hot Tub Cruisin staff contact information. Rest assured, our boat has been inspected and approved by the USCG for your peace of mind.

What if nature calls while I'm out on the boat?

We recommend all guests to use the restroom facilities immediately prior to departure. However, should you need a "pit stop", the boat can be returned to the dock at any time during your rental. Our Hot Tub Cruisin staff will assist you with a swift loading and unloading.

What happens if there's bad weather prior to, or during my rental?

(A. Your safety is our top priority If we are unable to operate the boat due to weather, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your cruise. (B. If your renal is cut short, you will only be charged for the time you use the boat, and we will work to schedule another cruise. (C. Rentals will only be cancelled due to "dangerous" weather conditions. PLEASE NOTE: A deposit is required for all reservations, and this will not be refunded if you cancel your reservation due to "non-dangerous" weather.

What if we accidentally break something on the boat?

As part of the HTC pre-cruise orientation and post-cruise check-out, you will do a "walk around" of the boat to identify any pre-existing damages. A credit card is held on file as a deposit for any damages incurred during your rental. The rental agreement identifies those damages for which the renter is liable and the associated costs.

My friends and I rented the 8 person boat for a birthday and had a great time! We were pleasantly surprised that there was a bluetooth speaker already on board that were were able to use. No need to bring your own speaker. You are able to bring your own drinks which was great and they had a medium sized cooler located underneath one of the seats. You must have a designated driver during the cruise. We were able to take both a dip in the hot tub as well as into the bay which was awesome. Jason was a great, friendly, and knowledgeable guide. He welcomed us warmly and was so funny! Glad we were able to celebrate with Hot Tub Cruising!

No matter what the weather, this boat is perfect. Cold? Hop in the hot tub. Hot? Jump off the boat and hop in the water! My friends and I have had a BLAST every time. The staff have always been accommodating and helpful. There's a bluetooth music system on the boat which allows someone in your party t one the DJ! I rebooked for the 4th of July weekend. Hot Tub Cruisin now offers trip insurance, which will allow you to cancel your upcoming cruise for any reason up to 48 hours before your scheduled departure time for a full refund. Trip insurance will also allow you to receive a full refund in the event of cancellation by Hot Tub Cruisin due to a Severe Weather Warning from the National Weather Service during the time of your scheduled tour.

WITHOUT TRIP INSURANCE, there are NO refunds, rescheduling, or credits given for any reason. However, ONLY in the event of a cancellation by Hot Tub Cruisin due to a Severe Weather Warning from the National Weather Service, you MAY receive a credit to reschedule your cruise for a future date (for up to three months from the date of your cruise cancelled cruise). Hot Tub Cruisin operates rain or shine otherwise! It is still a lot of fun, think of it as an adventure. We only cancel cruises if there are unsafe weather conditions (defined as a Severe Weather Warning by the National Weather Service).
