Not at all! This experience is designed for all levels—from total beginners to wine lovers looking to deepen their knowledge. The goal is to make wine education approachable and fun.
How many wines will we taste?
Most sessions include tastings of 4–6 wines, thoughtfully selected around a theme (like sparkling wines, wine & cheese pairings, or wines by region). Custom tastings are available for private events.
Can we bring our own wine or snacks?
Outside alcohol is not permitted, but the experience includes all the wine you’ll need! If you're booking a private party, you can inquire about bringing light snacks or adding a food pairing upgrade (like cheese or chocolate).
How long is the experience?
Most wine experiences last about 90 minutes. This allows plenty of time for sipping, learning, and laughing with your group.
Is this suitable for a bachelorette party or birthday celebration?
Absolutely! This is a favorite for bachelorette groups, birthdays, girls' nights, and any kind of celebration. We even offer some fun extras for private bookings—just ask!

What if someone in my group doesn’t drink?
No problem. Non-drinkers are welcome to attend and participate in the educational aspects of the session. We can provide a non-alcoholic alternative if requested in advance.
Where is Milwaukee Wine Academy located?
We’re based in the 3rd Ward neighborhood of Milwaukee, with metered street parking available (free on Sundays). The exact address will be provided after booking.
