Sweetheart Winery has been a favorite spot for girl days with my mom since they first opened. Even with new ownership, I still highly recommend it. The care and attention put into the facility and outdoor spaces make it a beautiful place to visit. One change I’ve noticed is that table service is no longer available—orders are now placed at the indoor bar. Beverages are given immediately. However, if ordering from the food menu, the wait is not long, and you are given a device to notify you when it’s ready. My favorite time to go is on sunny days, as there is ample outdoor seating, including spots right by the Big Thompson River. Stunning views, great service, delicious food and wine—definitely worth a visit! And don’t miss out on their cheese board!
