This was one of our favorite things we did on our trip to Key West.

You receive a large meal do not eat before you go. Key lime pie recipe is the best in Key West. Tried all top three this one definitely wins.

It was fun, informative and most importantly delicious! The Chefs demonstrated how to make the dishes along with really great tips to use at home. We received beautifully printed recipe cards to make each of the dishes at home. All food and drink was provided and you also could order from the bar menu which had many drink options available to you. I had the Key Lime Martini which was really tasty. The food was plentiful and delicious! While in Key West we tried several key lime pies from different establishments and this one here at the cooking show was by far the best we’ve ever had. Depending on the day and time there are different menus they demo so you can always chose based on that was well. We just chose a time that worked for our plans and it was wonderful. We left with full bellies and inspiration to try these recipes at home. It’s a fun way to spend a few hours while in Key West.

We did the History of Key West cocktail class, and it was AWESOME! Our storyteller, Michael, had great stories, a good presentation, made awesome drinks, and made our experience really magical. 10/10 would recommend this experience.

We absolutely love the Key West Cooking Show. We have been to every show and continue to go back and bring friends and family who have not enjoyed the experience yet. The staff is amazing and the food just as amazing. We really enjoy the stories and history of Key West/Caribbean cuisine. My wife is not a fan of flan and the Key West Cooking Show changed all that. They give you the recipes that you can try at home, which I have numerous times. We like to go early and enjoy a drink at the bar before the show starts. Their bar and bar staff and so awesome. We also did the cocktail class and that was amazing and full of history. As a local I learned a few things about the history of Key West. When in Key West make this a must attend you won't be disappointed.

We booked the cooking show based on the reviews here to fill time in the afternoon before our fight home. We did a lunch show with chefs Karl and Melanie and it was truly a highlight of our trip! They had great tips and stories to share and were so enjoyable as hosts. All of the food was beyond amazing and the key lime pie was the absolute best of our trip!! If you have the opportunity definitely book this experience as you will not be disappointed!! (They also gave us coupons for BOGO cocktails at their bar while we waited for the show to begin. And the red sangria served at the show was a highlight as well!) We did a walking food tour the previous day and that experience was nowhere close to the quality of this cooking show. 10/10 recommend!!

We have been coming to Key West for 10 years. This was one of the best experiences we have had. The food was DELICIOUS, and the chef's demonstration was excellent, including general cooking tips and some history of the region. The space itself, as well as the bar area, is well designed, bright, and modern. I highly recommend it. It is a good value!

My wife and I bought tickets for an early lunch show, "Grunts & Grits", not knowing what to expect. It was excellent! Great setting, great people (Karl was our chef, Monica our server), great food. 4 courses - plantain chips with Cuban chimichurri, bollos (like hush puppies but much lighter), fish with grits and pico de gallo and key lime pie with meringue. Also had the best sangria we've ever had. ALL were excellent. You receive recipe cards for each course plus the sangria. Highly recommend.

This activity is new since I was last in Key West and it is something Key West needed! The food was oh so delicious and the chefs so knowledgeable and entertaining! The venue was awesome. I definitely recommend and will most certainly come back!

This was such an enjoyable experience. The chefs/instructors gave background history about Key West, and many cooking tips as they demonstrated preparing the food. The food was delicious, and the whole event was just awesome! I loved receiving the recipe cards, so that I can prepare these dishes at home!

They were very entertaining, provided a history of the food, and cracked jokes to make it a fun event. We did the 7 pm dinner. We would have liked to try the cocktail-making event, but unfortunately, it was our last day. I highly recommend booking one of these events; you won’t be disappointed.

Two days after attending the cooking show, we returned to attend a ceremony and a cocktail show. We were the only two people in the class, and Michael was our instructor. He made the class. He explained the history of rum in the Keys and world history. Very knowledgeable on the topic. We fixed two drinks in the class, and he fixed us one. All three were excellent and better than similar drinks we'd purchased in the 5 days we'd been here. An excellent experience. Recommended

Chef Karl was fantastic! Entertaining, informative and totally in control of the kitchen. He shared stories and tips throughout the meal preparation that kept us all engaged and learning new tips to take back to our own kitchens. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious, making the entire meal memorable - and with the recipe cards and notes we should be able to make it ourselves at home. We were the only tourists that night, so it’s great to see they’re drawing repeat local customers already. We will definitely put this on our recommendations list and cannot wait to come back and do it again ourselves! Our meal was vermillion snapper with Creole sauce, white sangria, plantain chips with chimichurri dipping sauce and an amazing guava bread pudding with ‘guava lava’ sauce! Wow!!

The space, chef/host demonstration, food quality, and local storytelling are first class. Took a friend for his Birthday to the lunch show, and he said it was the best birthday present ever! I can’t wait to go back for the craft cocktail demonstration.

Absolutely fabulous experience! Fun, entertaining, and educational. Highly recommend this for everyone! The food was delicious as well. Overall, this was one of the BEST experiences KW has to offer, no matter if it’s your first time or 30th time to the island. Mel is lovely!

I live in Key West and was looking forward to trying this place. I absolutely loved it! There are a lot of great restaurants in Key West, and this is one of them. Great space. Great fun. It’s a different experience from most restaurants. The chefs teach how to make the meal with lots of helpful tips while the guests courses are brought to your table from the kitchen. Great concept. The chefs are also very entertaining with stories of the history of Key West while cooking. In our case, it was Amy and Karl who were great. They also provide each guest with recipe cards for each of the dishes being prepared. I definitely recommend this place.

So fun! We love food and we were not disappointed ! This was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Key West. The experience was so enjoyable and informative. The food was REALLY good, and there was a lot of history behind the meals themselves and the significance of the ingredients, and why each ingredient is important to the dish. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the dishes and very nice, and I know their families enjoy their cooking a lot! I loveeddd the jerk chicken and the jerk BBQ. I hope to come back soon and join the other classes and learn about and try even more dishes.

We had an incredible experience doing the rum cocktail course! We learned a great deal about rum history and the way the Keys played a part, and enjoyed mixing our own drinks and gaining some new drink recipes. Sean was a fantastic host/instructor, and we'd love to see more offerings of this type both in Key West and at other Historical Tours of America sites.

We experienced the cocktail class with Dave. Learned many tidbits of information on how rum became a great beverage. I didn’t know how versatile rum is. My favorite drink was the original daiquiri 🤤 followed by the painkiller with nutmeg 😁
