What do we wear?

Accepted Answer

Please wear athletic clothing, preferably something tight or form fitting. Leggings and a comfortable shirt that covers your midsection are great! Hair should be tied up or back if possible.

Avoid zippers or jewelry that could tear the silks.

No shoes on equipment. You can wear socks if you want, but silks and slings are more difficult with socks so we recommend being barefoot.

Loose clothing, jewelry, shoes, and other items could not only damage the equipment but also make it harder for you and increase the possibility of getting stuck.

What do we bring?

A water bottle and phone. We have water to refill bottles if needed,

Grip aid if you want it. The studio also has grip aid available.

Is it safe?

Yes!

Our instructors are all trained, insured, and CPR certified. Our equipment and rigging is professionally designed and installed, and it is weighted for over 1000 pounds.

We take mental and physical safety and security very seriously.

Question 8

Do we need upper body strength or flexibility?

Nope! Our owner started out with zero upper body strength.

Coming to class will help you to develop upper body strength and other helpful muscle groups. We also train on grip, which is often more important than strength.

Most of the more flexible moves are upper level, everything else is based on angles. You will develop more flexibility as you take classes.

Regardless of your strength or flexibility you will still be able to participate in class. We have lots of modifications as well.
