Not at all! I use a micro-welder to join the two ends of your chain without a clasp. It's a quick process that is fun and totally painless! I'll ensure you're safe and comfortable!
How is Violet Moon Jewelry different than other permanent jewelers?
99% of other permanent jewelers use jump rings in their pieces because it's easier and faster. Thanks to my years of experience in the jewelry business, I weld my permanent jewelry without jump rings because I like when you have a continuous piece and can't tell where it ends and begins! This adds to the symbolism of your forever bracelet.
What metals do you use for the permanent bracelets, anklets, and necklaces?
I use 14k solid yellow and rose gold, sterling silver, and 14k gold fill for your permanent jewelry so there's something for everyone. They're durable, waterproof, tarnish-proof, and hypoallergenic.
How long will my permanent jewelry stay on?
Your pieces will stay on for as long as you'd like! If for some reason you would like to remove your jewelry, simply cut the chain and save it if you'd like me to re-weld it in the future.
What if my chain breaks?
Because your piece has no clasp and is measured to perfectly fit your wrist, ankle or neck, it should not break. However, if it does break, please save your chain and I'm happy to re-weld it for you at no cost.

Can I get an MRI with a permanent bracelet, anklet, or necklace?
You may be asked to remove your permanent jewelry before an MRI although some clients have reported that they could leave theirs on. Save your chain and I can re-weld it for you at no cost!
Can I go through airport security with permanent jewelry?
Absolutely! TSA does not ask you to remove fine jewelry, so you'll be able to take your permanent jewelry with you on all your adventures!
