Frequently Asked Questions for Custom Hat Bar Experience on King Street, Charleston

Question 1

Do I need to book in advance, or can I walk in?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are recommended, especially for groups. A $20 deposit secures your spot, and that $20 comes off your final hat purchase.

Question 2

How long does it take to make a hat?

Accepted Answer

Plan for about an hour. You'll pick your base hat and accessories, then a team member hand-builds it while you hang out with your group.

Question 3

What's included in the price, and how much should I expect to spend?

Accepted Answer

Hat prices generally range from $20 to $200 depending on the style and accessories you choose. The $20 deposit is credited toward your purchase, so there's no separate "experience fee" on top.

Question 4

Is this a good fit for a bachelorette party?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's one of the most popular Charleston bachelorette stops. Bachelorette groups also get a complimentary gift bag for the bride.

Question 5

Do I get to keep the hat I make?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's yours to take home the same day. Every hat is one of a kind since you choose the style and accessories yourself.
