Book this tour!!! My group of 3 had a perfect day through Oregon wineries. Each stop was chosen for us based on our personal tastes. Camille was an excellent tour guide—she was full of knowledge, fun, and accommodating. The lunch was delicious and made from local ingredients. The van we rode in was comfortable and clean. All around, fantastic experience!! Worth every penny!

My mom and I came to the Portland area for the first time in September and wanted to take a wine tour of Willamette Valley. I found A Great Oregon Wine Tour after a google search, and could not have been more thrilled I did. The team curated a full day wine tour of local, small vineyards in the valley. Since it was just she and I, they were able to pick us up from our B&B. We appreciated not only the chauffer service, but that we were accompanied by a highly knowledgeable sommelier, Jessie the entire time. As this was my mom's first wine tour, we were really interested to learn about the history and wine-making process, and Jessie was great! We went to Alexana, Eminent Domain, and Anacreon, which were all had stunning views and great wines! Our tour included lunch, which we learned was made by the tour company owners and used fresh and local selections, including a turkey sandwich on artisan bread with apple and whipped goat cheese, and local, raw hazelnuts. Whether you're looking just to drink, or to learn - this was a great experience!

A friend recommended this tour and it completely delivered. We were lucky to have Camille, one of the owners, as our driver and she made the whole experience. Incredibly knowledgeable about the wine industry and the region, but also just genuinely fun to spend the day with. It never felt like a scripted tour; she improvised based on what we had time for and steered us toward smaller vineyards we likely wouldn’t have found on our own through Google/AI research. I chose this tour to entertain my parents on their first visit to the PNW, who are casual wine drinkers just starting to learn more, and the vibe was totally unpretentious and welcoming. The fact that tasting fees aren’t bundled in was a nice touch too since it gave everyone the flexibility to opt in or out as they pleased. Stunning views of the valley, a great way to see the region, and honestly just a really lovely day. Already thinking about how to make it happen again on a future trip!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I booked this tour because it had such excellent reviews. And it did not disappoint. Wayne, the tour guide, is extremely knowledgable about Portland, Willamette Valley and wine! We loved that is was very small, only three couples. He took us to three really lovely wineries. It was a great day!

Wayne picked us up at our accommodations and took us to 3 wineries over around 7 hours and provided a great lunch too. Wayne, himself, was a very interesting and entertaining guy. Our visits included meeting an owner of a small winery, and some very experienced and knowledgeable people everywhere. Very little repetition or overlap because each place explained their business and always listened and reacted accordingly with our questions and feedback. Highly, highly recommend A Great Oregon Wine Tour. A fantastic experience!!

Don’t skip this fun excursion on your next trip to Portland! Wayne is super knowledgeable about the history and culture of Willamette Valley and has made great connections in the area that elevate the wine tour experience. First example of that was our quick stop at a roadside market on the way to the first vineyard to taste Oregon strawberries and wow, that did not disappoint! From there we went to three beautiful wineries, at each experienced amazing hospitality and had a tasty lunch - forming relationships with our fellow wine tour friends along the way :) Of all the wine tours to choose from, THIS door to door service (in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter no less!) is the one to go on!

Wayne absolutely ROCKS!! We had an incredible private tour through the McMinnville area. Wayne arranged private and exclusive tastings at 3 small family owned vineyards - it was absolutely wonderful!! We had the opportunity to meet the owners at their homes, hear their incredible stories and true passion for their wines. We signed up for all the wine clubs as the wines were amazing and of great and reasonable value. Wayne was a delight all through the trip and really knows the area, the wines, and the vineyards!! Top notch experience! After plans fell through for my one Saturday in town, my plan B was signing up for a wine tour. This was the best plan B EVER! Camille was so knowledgable, I felt like I knew so much more about the history and geography of the Willamette (Dammit) Valley than I ever expected. Great stories, wonderful experiences and stellar wines. Highly recommend!!

My friends and I went to Portland on a short girl’s trip and decided to book this tour. We are so glad we did, it was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. Cam was an amazing tour guide, not only is she is very knowledgeable about the area, she is just overall a nice person to be around. She allowed us to go at our own pace, took tons of pictures for us and ensured we had the best time.
