My wife and I went to do the Cosmos room, and we had so much fun that we immediately signed up to do the Timeliner room right after. This place is awesome. The rooms are immersive, challenging, and enjoyable. Jordan, our game guide, ran the rooms really well and made the experience even more fun. Jonathan was really friendly, and we felt right at home. Next time we're back in Austin, we will definitely be back!

I had such an amazing experience with friends visiting, it was my sister’s birthday! We played the playground one and it was so interactive and had plenty of tasks for all 6 of us to do!

If I could give 50 million stars to AUSTIN DOWNTOWN ESCAPE ROOM I would do it with e a s e! Circe was welcoming, humorous, And just amazing amazing as a great gift to the environment! CJ the Magician is one me and my husband will never ever forget! It was an absolute treat all together and we WILL be back and give them all our coins! If you need a break from reality and exercise your brain, and see some ✨ magic ✨ just don’t think twice and come! But definitely think twice when you get into an escape room! 😉 thank YOU triple times to CJ and Circe! Yall amazing as idk what! Ughhhhhh smiles for days after this!

My boys went to The Escape Room for my son's birthday. They had an amazing experience and decided to go back the next day to try another room! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They even made and signed a birthday card for him. I thought that was so sweet! My sons said their experience felt more personalized rather than transactional. They chose the Cosmic Chaos and The Depths tooms. Both rooms required more interaction compared to past escape rooms they have gone to. They loved this aspect of the rooms. If we are ever in Austin again, they will definitely go back. The Escape Room is well worth the money spent.

Just finished my last room - Prison Break- with Mateo as our game guide and had SO MUCH FUN!!! He gave us just the right amount of hints and laughed with us the whole time! We LOVE all of the rooms at The Escape Game!!!

Super fun! Front desk and host were friendly and great at directing us along the way - nudging at just the right moment. A perfect 60 minute challenge - we escaped! (Camille, Phoenix)

We did two escape rooms at the Escape Game Austin, the Heist and the classified themes. Both were a very good and had unique puzzles which were challenging but also engaging. Our game assistant B was very approachable and friendly, she gave us right level of hints when help needed. Overall we had a great and fun experience!

Amazing time, great location, challenging games! Went here with some coworkers to do some team bonding, and the escape game did not disappoint! You can tell that a lot of effort went into creating each game. Well worth it, and I can’t wait to come back and do the other rooms!

We had such a great time at the escape game in austin! We went for my sister's bachelorette party and did the hardest one the prison escape lmao 😂 I didn’t realize it was the hardest one when I booked it, but even with that we still managed to finish it and they were so nice and gave us unlimited clues to help us out! They also made it extra special by making my sister a card wish her well for her wedding coming up 🥺🩷🩷 and had adorable pink balloons for her. We found the balloons and card in the last room that we unlocked. I want to personally thank our host Jonathan for being such a patient and fun guide! He asked questions about the wedding and even gave us a couple extra minutes when we were running out of time during our game. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try an escape room!

Not only was the Gold Rush probably the best escape room I've done, but the entire staff was so lovely and welcoming. I went to celebrate my birthday and Cam was so wonderful and had the entire Escape Game team handwrite me a card he decorated. It was so thoughtful and I would recommend this place to everyone!

The Escape Game Austin was fantastic!! Visiting Austin for my daughter’s birthday and our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the room, Classified! The rooms were great as expected from the room and website, but from start to finish, the staff is really what earns this place 5 stars time and time again. Our game master was Camille and we can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She made it such a great experience that we’re about to go back for our second game of the day!! Thanks, Camille for making our experience unforgettable, especially for our birthday girl!

I had an absolutely great time playing some escape games with some friends. I went with a couple of friends while celebrating a bachelor party and it was a highlight of the trip. Camille was very amicable and enthusiastic at the front desk, helping us get excited about the escape rooms as well as the merchandise available at the front. Cam was also a great guide leading us into the escape room. Cam made us feel so enthusiastic once we escaped and took pictures for us to remember the moment.

My wife and I were in Austin for a long weekend. We decided to do an escape room on Friday night and had so much fun that we came back on Sunday for another...and then we did ANOTHER one immediately afterward on Sunday. We played Timeliner, Prison Break, and The Heist and loved them all. We had great interactions with everybody at The Escape Game. I don't remember everyone's names, but shout out to Nick at the front desk and Spencer and Logan, who were all great. Highly recommend for team building and date nights!

10 -11 and 12 year old boys plus my husband and me. Whew! Hazel was our game master and she was so good at “reading the room” - dropping hints (not answers!) when the boys were getting frustrated or losing the plot. She also helped ensure they were successful without giving too much away. My son is already hoping to go back next year for his birthday! And as a bonus, the kids employees made a cute card for my son.

I’m one of those people that would second guess paying to escape a room. With that being said this place completely changed my mind about escape rooms!! Stella was very very kind & her energy was great. We honestly had a BLAST in ‘the playground’ escape room. I don’t wanna ruin any surprises but the part at the end that required ‘teamwork’ was so adorable and really had every single one of us working together! We finished with 12 minutes to spare. It was truly a one of a kind experience.

From the front desk with Haley, to the impressive game experience with our game guide, Johnathan, we had an amazing experience! This place has extremely immersive and detailed escape games with very super fun puzzles (we've now done 3 games from here) and incredibly kind staff. I particularly like how Johnathan was ready to go immediately when we asked for hints and the actual hints he gave out still let us use our brains too! 😄 👍🏾 What an action-packed hour! We'll definitely be back!

What a great time we had playing The Classified Room! Anderson was an amazing host — friendly, enthusiastic, and thorough. The room had just the right balance of complexity and challenge to keep us engaged without feeling overwhelming. Anderson explained everything clearly before we began, and was waiting with a huge smile to celebrate with us when we escaped. This was our third room at this location, and every experience has been fantastic. Highly recommend!

I came for my birthday and had SO MUCH FUN. The game room was really impressive and the perfect level of challenge. Anderson was so sweet to us when we finished and offered to take several pictures of our group. ALSO, Guiliana made me a birthday card and had the other employees sign it and incorporated the space theme from our room. It is a perfect little souvenir from the day! The employees here truly go above and beyond to ensure each party has a great time. Definitely worth checking out

The Escape Game Austin is an absolute blast and I highly recommend it, especially for team bonding! They offer a wide range of themes, each with its own unique challenges and atmosphere. The staff are consistently nice and friendly, which really adds to the experience. We had a great time tackling 'Classified,' and I'm already looking forward to trying another theme on our next visit!

My wife and I came here as a date to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was so much more than we could’ve imagined! We came for one escape room and ended up doing two back to back because we just couldn’t help ourselves it was so fun! Jack and Spencer were awesome guides, they made the experience so much more fun and enjoyable! Logan helped my wife and I pick out the best rooms and made some great future recommendations as well. All in all 10/10 staff 10/10 experience!! Definitely going to be coming back!

SO MUCH FUN!! Anderson was an amazing game host and even went out of their way to congratulate me for my college accomplishments and my friends birthday by making us cards during our game. The puzzles were difficult enough to make you think, but nothing that ever made us mad. Overall, it was such a fun and amazing experience. The rooms were very impressive and beyond well made, would 100% recommend for any group of people!!

Had such a blast at the escape game while celebrating my bachelorette in Austin! Our guide, Cam, was AMAZING! He and the other staff members made me a card and sticker. There was 4 of us who did the Playground and we loved that room! We escaped with 15:15 left. Thanks Cam for making it such a fun experience!!
