E-Bike Tour: 12-Mile Loop of Fort Ord National Monument

About this Experience

What you'll do:

Do you like open space? Skybathing? Our Fort Ord eBike tour features a rolling 12-mile loop on dirt and paved roads that takes riders deep into this vast open space and former Military Base.

During this 2-hour tour guided tour we pause along the way to highlight native plant and animal life, along with some of the celebrated military history.

Why we love it for your party:

  • Epic open space vibes (Ride through wide, scenic landscapes that are perfect for skybathing and breathing in that fresh air)

  • A little adventure, a lot of fun (With 12 miles of mixed terrain, this ride brings just the right balance of thrill and chill)

  • Nature meets history (Spot native wildlife and hear fascinating stories from the area’s military past along the way)

  • Perfect for the outdoorsy crew (Great for groups who love to move, explore, and snap unforgettable group photos)

  • Totally beginner-friendly (No pro cycling skills required—just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure)

About this experience partner:

Jeff coached high school mountain biking for many years and makes cycling fun for riders of all abilities. Melissa shares her knowledge of natural history, native plants, birds, and animals. Both enjoy seeking out unique photo opportunities to capture the moment with your group.

What our guests say: “Thank you for the ebike tour! It was a highlight of our time here on the Monterey Peninsula. We're so grateful for the opportunity to get out in nature on a bike far from cars and buses. The views and scenery were lovely.”
