Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if weather conditions are bad?

Charters operate rain or shine. The captain will determine if weather conditions are unsafe due to high winds, named storms, or official marine advisories. Light rain or cloudy conditions do not qualify for cancellation. If conditions are deemed unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule your charter.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the charter date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Charters may be rescheduled up to 3 days prior to the scheduled date at no additional charge. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 3 days of the charter are considered a forfeiture of the deposit. However, we are happy to offer a discounted rate on a future rescheduled charter as a courtesy.

What is your reschedule policy?

We offer a flexible rescheduling policy. Notify us at least 14 days before your booking to avoid penalties and secure new dates, subject to availability. Requests within 14 days may incur fees or be treated as cancellations. We aim to find alternative dates to fit your schedule while maintaining our high service standards.

Late arrival policy?

Your charter time begins promptly at the scheduled departure time. Late arrivals do not extend the charter duration, as subsequent bookings and marina schedules must be respected. We recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes prior to departure to ensure a smooth boarding process.

How many guests can I bring on my charter?

Most of our yachts are limited to 13 guests per vessel in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations. Federal maritime law restricts most chartered recreational vessels to a maximum of 13 passengers, regardless of the yacht’s size. For larger groups, we offer multi-yacht tie-up experiences, where two or more yachts anchor together at a designated location so guests can celebrate side by side while each vessel remains compliant with capacity limits. Our team is happy to help coordinate larger events to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Can we bring our own food & drinks?

Yes, guests may bring their own food and drinks on board to personalize their experience. Yachts will have a cooler with ice on board.

Can we decorate the yacht?

Yes — light decorations are welcome for birthdays, engagements, and special celebrations. However: No confetti, glitter, open flames, or adhesives that may damage surfaces. No nails, staples, or permanent fixtures. Decorations must be removed at the end of the charter.

What is the itinerary for the trip?

Boarding instructions will be provided prior to your charter. Most charters follow a popular experience route: after boarding, your captain will cruise to a nearby sandbar or scenic anchorage where the yacht will anchor. Guests may swim, relax onboard, enjoy floating mats, or participate in approved water activities such as jet skiing (if arranged). At the appropriate time, the yacht will depart to ensure a timely return to the marina at the scheduled end of your charter. Final routes and timing are always at the captain’s discretion based on weather, marine conditions, and safety.

What should I bring on my charter?

Please bring a valid ID. We also recommend bringing swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, any personal medications, and a light jacket for cooler evenings. We encourage packing lightly due to limited storage onboard.

Captain's Authority

The captain has full authority regarding navigation, safety, and conduct onboard. All guests must follow the captain’s instructions at all times. Failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.

Barefoot Policy

To protect the yacht’s interior and decking, shoes must be removed prior to boarding unless otherwise approved.

Prohibited Items

For safety and vessel protection, the following items are not permitted onboard: Illegal substances Weapons or firearms Fireworks or explosives Confetti, glitter, or staining decorations Open flames or hookahs Self-tanning products Red wine or other staining beverages Any prohibited items may result in termination of the charter without refund.
